I've made 480rwhp on a dyno dynamics dyno. That is over 500 on a dyno jet. With boost only in the low 20's im sure it wont be long until I crack the 500.

The turbo was a TA45.

there are a whole lot of australian rotaries pushing close to or over 500, all on a number of different turbo setups.

cant say alot more then that. one example is "freknu" from aus which runs a series iv 13bt and is making around 386kw (um, not sure on the exact conversion but over 500hp) using a garret t04/66. this was made on 26psi and on c16 race fuel

hope that helps

That would be just under 520hp on a T66.... sounds about right.

You've got a lot of other mods you'd need along with the single such as a stand alone like the Microtech, Haltech, or PFC. You'll need to upgrade your fuel system further as your setup I don't believe would support the fuel needs of a car like that, and there are many other things that at that level you'd have to/want to upgrade to make the car safe.

Ralph is there, but he runs around 32psi. I believe he is in the 600range.

with a good port and a really good tune, a t78 can produce 500whp at 21 psi on 110 octane

I have a 90 rx7 running through the factory setup with a piggy back EIC and a t78 that we dyno'd at 1.2 bar and 435rwhp. complete with airflow meter and air conditioning.

I don't think you're going to hit 500rwhp and have it be a daily driver.

why not? the only set back is the fuel. you'll almost definately have to run 110 octane to achieve the hp goal, but if they can afford the gas bill then it's not a problem. i have 439whp and drive the hell out of it. only reason i don't have any more is because i haven't gone to tune for higher boost for higher octane gas

damn that's alot of gas driving a 500+ hp rx7, I was hating it when my car only had 320hp I can't imagine driving my 7 everyday when my single setup is done

The race gas is the exact reason why its hard to make a DAILY DRIVEN 500rwhp 7. I mean most 7 owners do have some money but I know atleast I'm not crazy enough to blow the money to put race gas in my car constantly. Now the weekends is one thing but running it everyday? That's a little out there.

isnt it also kind of illegal to run race gas such as c16 on the street anyway? Like more of a massive ticket than anything they can give you for your car.

depends on the emissions laws where you live. in california, i'd imagine you'd get nailed hardcore for having leaded fuel in the car. that's why i'm glad i live in a no emissions area. i have straight exhaust with no cat and no o2 sensor
