a 400whp+ buildup... opinions please?

Well, Im actually not Rick (the owner of the user name) but actually his brother. I will be doing a buildup on his car in the next few months and I had a few thoughts and would like some input from the knowledgeable ones here... If this has already been brought up then Im sorry, if not, then happy replying to you.. ;0

Here's the goal: 400whp or a nice low 12 sec 1/4 mile time. but mostly 400whp

As for a setup heres the plan that I have:
T04S
Greddy FMIC
Pineapple Racing motor (mild street port if necesary)
Koyo Radiator
PowerFC
Greddy Type-S BOV
1600cc secondaries
fuel pump
fuel rail
Twin-Power Ignition
RX7Store midpipe

Now, we were considering a Bi-State turbo kit, but nice I can get good deals on turbos I can considering peacing it together with a tubular manifold from RX7Store.

So these are just somethings that I am considering, now I can also get a nice price on a GT35 but i am trying to keep cost down since this is quite a lump sum of money.

Anyways, what Im looking for here is opinions on the setup. Would it be good for the goal or should I look to go with something different?

Let me know

And also, if anyone is interested in a Garrett turbo of some kind, let me know because I might be able to get something going for you.

My email is jsalicru@mac.com

That looks to be about the same setup that I am going to be running soon, with the exception of a Gotham Racing street port instead of the Pineapple motor, my only comment would be to go with a Fluidyne radiator instead of the Koyo. IMO

Sounds like a great set up! I have the same setup and I have 850cc and 1600cc as my injectors. At 10 psi with race gas I got 350rwhp. I'm pulling for 475rwhp at 20 psi or so with 100% 110 octane race gas on my next tripat the dyno. Good luck with yours. My tuner told me that a good fuel pump and fuel filter is a must!!!

yeap that seems to make perfect sense... it would suck to spend all that money to have the motor fail at the end because of a fuel filter...
