397rwhp @16psi w/ GT35r, Stock Ports

Had the car tuned this last Saturday with Jio, Bacon, Martin, and one other FD owner at Car Version 2 in Delaware. As with everyone else, I'm pretty happy with my results. Dyno used was a DynoPack, doing third gear pulls (I don't think anyone did any 4th gear). Car was running quite rough on the way down, which turned out to be fuel pressure that was too high. Steve worked things out, and started out with a fresh map on the PFC.

Relevant mods are as follows:
GT35r
Tial 46mm Gate
Tial BOV
550/1600
SX FPR
Greddy 2-row FMIC
Walbro intank pump
Apexi PFC
Apexi AVC-r
GM 3 bar map sensor
Stock Port motor from Malloy Mazda
Stock ignition with B10EGV plugs all around
Gas in the tank was 94 octane pump gas from Sunoco

So at 16 or so Psi, the car managed 397whp, and 325rwt (I'll get the dyno sheet up as soon as I can). I was told (as with everyone else) that the dyno puts out numbers 5% lower than most other Dyno's. You guys can do the math. With pretty basic mods, I'm really happy with the way things turned out. I can honestly say that this car has never run this good, even after the 6 years I've owned it.

Thanks to Steve (blame everything on the tuner ), Dan, and the guys at Car Version 2 for setting this all up. Well worth the time and money to get this all done.

congrats on the tune. Steve is the man! I had mine tuned by him a couple months ago on the street. The car felt awesome aftwards.

Definitely impressive #’s for stock ports, also incredible spool for a similarly sized turbo to what I’m running. 600+ rpms sooner to 10psi on stock ports

(think mine were in 4th

SWEET. I am right on the edge with my 67 P trim of too slow of a spool. I have to be on the gas right after an apex to hang with the big HP n/a cars. Good job, Carl

Where’s the sheet?
Any other pertinent details about the pull you could share? ambient air temps, pressure, humidity, RPM vs AFRs for the plot?

I got the same turbo. 1.06 t3 and I managed 403rwhp at 14 psi(couldnt go higher only had a 7psi spring) this was with a slipping stock orginal 30k mile clutch on pump 93 and stock ports..

Will have new dyno sheets in a few weeks when I go back with more boost, twin plate and a big street port.

Heres the dyno sheet. Had trouble access a scanner, so I just took a pic with my camera phone. I typed in the blurry peak numbers on the upper left and right corners.

Thicker solid lines were my peak hp/tq numbers. The fainter lines were my base run. I'm not too sure on the AFR's, maybe Steve can chime in.

Thanks! Local Sunoco doesnt offer 100 octane. I wanted to tune for what I use most often, which is Sunono 94 octane ..
