35r mapping session

Hi all from dull and damp England.
Went for a mapping session on friday what do you all think. Good and bad points please.
Its a GT35R T3 with a 106 hotside, large street port and at just under 1bar boost, thanks.

The number is the number. They do vary a lot, and from my firsthand experience the dynapak numbers are about 15% lower than dynojet.

You've got useable torque from 3500rpm+ . That's good. But there's a little more torque and power oscillation than I would expect. That indicates to me that the timing curve needs to be adjusted (advanced in some areas to reduce the dips in torque) or it's just your boost oscillating.

My dynojet plots for a comparison:

GT35R T3 short runner mani. 1.06 hotside/ 0.70 coldside. Medium street port.
FWIW,

I like the torque you have. Depending on your timing is where you'll pickup some more horsepower (and gain torque). I was expecting a bit more power for a large street-port with 1 bar but if the car feels good, EGT's and A/F's are good, be VERY happy. What octane fuel were you running?

Fuel is Shell 98 ron and the tuner always runs it on the rich side to be safe. Its only a weekend car, no track ect.
The tuner was very happy with the torque but why does it drop off at 6000revs.

it could be dropping off at 6000rpm because of the hot side of the turbo.

I really think the tuning is what the limitation. I'll let you come to the conclusion but here's some food for thought in this thread... https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo-rx-7s-23/critique-my-gt35r-dyno-sheet-644970/

The plots are on STOCK ports and 15-16lbs of boost. Same exact turbo, different tuner.

On another note I never thought to ask what ignition, fuel and what other mods you have. These could play a role...

I asked the tuner about the fueling and ignition and he said there's no problem there at all.
New iridium plugs
new leads
1600+ 550 injectors
twin power with low milage good coils
uprated fuel pump
fpr
Apexi gt intercooler
Ron Davis racing rad
HSF 5 water injection
excessive lim , match ported upper and knife ported to the TB which is a RW single flow.
