Question 967 vs 044

[i]BTW A shop that I work with ASSC Racing tested pumps and found the 967 out performs the 044. They are running twins in 800hp street v8s.
The magazine was Decembers BANZAI. Thx [/B]
Is this true , can anyone expand on this ? , where can I get the 967?.

A shade under AUD$10,000! The reason they don't quote figures is because they aren't cheap by any stretch of the imagination! They're top notch quality though. I'd buy 1 if i had the cash!

the front rotor to the rear. At high boost the rear is a lot leaner, and with
the PFC we can only adjust the injectors a little bit to componsate. We figure if we fix the flow problem and add two more 1600s we can boost
to 35 psi or better. The manifold will be available after trial on our two cars and then we might redo the top. Time will tell. Hey crispeed I am going to try rx8 rotors and limit boost to 30psi, lets see how they
hold up on the street.!!!!!!!!!!!!yeeehaaa

Im wondering what he can do with a f,.,.cken bloody 3 Rotor motor a 1000 hp maybee 1200 hp monster

he is the man

Well I finally put in the new motor, with of course bigger ports and
high compression rotors. We also put on our new deep cast oil pan with built in housing girdle { well see if it works keeping the housings from twisting!} Right now iam breaking it in at 22psi and the car acellerates
awsome. CJ give me a call about your clutch. Ralph

This is just a big streey port, and with the one piece ceramic seals/
9.7:1 rotors the car starts great and has a lot more bottom end. I run a T72Qtrim and spool is a lot quicker so far. But wont know how good until
I raise the boost. I have found using the AVCR boost controller that the higher the boost setting the faster the spool up for some reason, it seems as the controller keeps the gate closed longer. And I run all the settings below boost railed to 90 percent duty cycle. Sorry so long
just excited the car hauls *** again!!! Yahoo

Ah thats great, I have gone one piece ceramic as well, upgraded turbo to T76BB and got a GURU 2 piece shaft...... might go the high compression route as well, just trying to decide wich way to go ?

I will keep it street port I'm pretty sure of that.

Hi Ralph,

Did you use the entire rotating assembly that goes along with the 9.7:1 compression rotors, including the stock e-shaft??

Hey rice how you doing. I have been waiting for a GTQ76bb for a
few months but didnt come. Let me know how it works. I cant get over
about 32psi on my T72 and still wat to try higher boost. I went higher compression on my supra 9.5cr and boosted 40psi and got 1170rwhp
with and automatic no NOS pair GT35rs but we have some surging problems to fix. Ill never go back to standard compression rotors
again. After the owner of the GT42r setup I had built rode in my car today, we decided to pull his new motor out and replace the rotors also.
He love the driveability.

Why didn't you use the higher compression Renesis rotors? There is plenty of material to machine the apex seal grooves for regular 2mm apex seals.

Ralph glad you came to chat. We talked on the phone a few months ago about Running 1680cc Injectors without Resistors with the Power FC. Nice to see you came on to share your knowledge.
