300 or close

i am using the stock ecu ,SAFC ,ported ,have a To4e turbo ,front mount and boosting 14lbs and definetly feels like 300 hp . havent dyno'ed it yet but this month is dyno day i should have the safc fine tuned along with the wideband i have installed .
at 7lbs without the greddy boost controller i beat a 2000 bmw m3 , was running hard before but now its just rediculous . so yes stock ecu is capable.
ALSO i think you should check out digital tuning www.pocketlogger.com for the chip they sell that is a piggyback chip. if you plan on boosting high timing is important . retarding the timing for OVER than 8 lbs of boost this chip does it. stock ecu stops at 8lbs i think . but with chip 1 degree for every lb of boost over 8
this chip has other great features as well check it out

^^ That chip is for S4's only... not S5's.

But yes, you can do 300rwhp. To do it safely on the stock ECU would require enough fuel and a FMIC. I would also retard timing a couple degrees at the CAS at the expense of a little less low-end power/response.

You're worried about emission when you're going to swap turbos???
