Polishing interior air passages

While my engine is out I am working on polishing the insides of the upper and lower intake manifolds as well as the Greddy elbow. Once I started looking at everything closely I noticed how rough the passages actually are, especialy on the elbow. I was wondering if any of you have had experiences with this on a single turbo car. My goal is to hit 500rwhp@20lbs when all is done on my TO4S. So far I have hit 465@18-19lbs. I am considering getting Ground Zero's redesigned LIM to promote better airflow to the front rotor and overall. I think with some tweaking it may be possible.

RE manifolds

Have you looked at RE manifolds? REWs are about 35mm and 38mm while the RE has 40mm all the way. On my REW manifold I welded the dents that clear the twin turbos so I could at least make the inside smooth.

If you want a real performance manifold, check this guy out.

www.kgparts.com

I emailed him a little while ago on prices for some of his parts, it was about 500$ for the TB you see on the top of the intake list, and 350$ i believe for the LIM that it connects too.
You'll get better throttle response using that intake setup and it will get all that compressed air to the rotors quicker.
The TB also supports up to 8 freakin injectors, for 500rwhp I think that 6 injectors would be nice but then again I've never had any real experience with the way a rotory handles under that much boost to achieve 500rwhp.

Just curious, but what you got goin under the hood to make 460hp?

thx

damn earnie, thats awesome! I talked to the guy at the site and he said that TB/Intake will never be cast again, and he's only going to use the other one on the site.. I always thought that particular model looked the best. How much did it run you?

That was me. And yes, they wont be cast again. Ernie actualy has the last one to be sold as "new". You may be able to find someone who is selling theirs, last one I know that sold went for over $800 just for the TB adapter, and you can run up to 16 injectors on a 13B with these. There are 13 cars right now running in the 7 second range right now on these BTW, and many more in the 8's.
