Dont know if I missed something...but whats magical about 23psi with the rotary? Why not 25psi or even 22psi? .....Seriously. Is that the limit for certain mods or what? Just wanted to know.

Thanks

It's not just the psi, but turbo size also matters. Example: a gt28r will not flow as much at 23 psi compared to a gt42 at 23 psi. Because one is smaller than the other.

GT35R taps out on 23psi and thats the most common turbo people have.

Most people will trust water injection with pump gas to around 23psi.

Probably where most people run out of fuel as well with your common 550/1600 and 850/1600 setup. Of course the more boost you push, the more on the edge you get. 23 PSi is already pushing limits, you require a significant amount of AI, race fuel, or e85. There are quite a few people who run 30 PSi but these are mostly extreme setups with big turbo's that are efficient at those boost levels, mostly drag cars.
