Well I dropped off a stock hood for Ken yesterday. It looks like the hood work has started. I think you guys are going to be very satisfied with the hood.

I'm not familiar with V-mount setups, but with this type of hood. Won't water go into the engine bay and demolish everything electronic? Someone correct me of im wrong, because of not i'll hop on this

 

No, not really.

 

there is a thread discussing that somewhere. I read it once before, but the overall result was that no there is too much air moving over the vent at speed, and when it's stopped the vent is so far foward that it pretty much just falls through the engine bay.

this will be a good alternative to the sexy style and will cool the engine a ton.

 

I saw one of these today on RHD Japan and it wasn't a panspeed. Maybe you guys can use this as an alternate mold, and the turn around was only 6 days i think. But I am still holding out for you guys at Shine to get yours out.

 

That hood you're referring to on RHDJapan is the Garage Kagotani hood. Someone here (due to the ealier confusion as to which hood they had due to the pictures Ken used and what he said he had and the interest sparked for the GK hood instead) had talked with them to see if they could get the hood. RHDJ could so they added it to their site a month or so ago.

 

I've tried calling for the past two weeks on and off. Nobody answers the phone. Thinking of just getting my car painted stock...........

 

YEAH can we plz got some sort of update of status on said hood, and price for CF.
