FC3S: Panspeed Style Drop Vented Hood

http://www.forum.shineautoproject.co...?p=381#post381

Looking for an interest of 15. First 15 to sign up with $100 deposit, get the hood at $400 + shipping. This is for the FRP version.

CF prices have not yet been determined.

Let me know! We have this rare hood in our posession.

Garage Kagotani hood. Atleast that's the one the Super Now FC runs that's in your link.

Still an awesome looking hood though. Will keep an eye on this.

im deff in for this hood as long as it uses stock latch and fitment is good and its fiberglass, i dont want any carbon fiber. also this will have to be a super straight flat fiberglass because this will be going on a show car that is painted black so a wavy fiberglass hood will be un except able for this vehicle...i do bodywork and 90% of fiberglass hoods i see on the market are wavy as the ocean especially on a black car...im not to familiar with shines products so im going to do a little research on fitment/ how flat the hoods surface is. anyone else can chime in on that here in this thread as well.. but i will add that this is the nicest style hood ive seen yet for a FC

Hey guys,

I apoligize. I did not know the hood on the black FC was not a Panspeed hood. Could've fooled me. However, I do indeed have a hood from Panspeed.

Is that flush with the rest of the hood? I'm all over that if it is.

IMO this hood looks kinda cheap/generic without the lip around the opening

Found this vid on youtube of what they say is a Panspeed hood for an FC

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFZrHrCvsiE

If that is the hood then DANG that is a big hole in the hood, i would have to add alot of screen to the bottom of that hood if i buy it.

Yes that's my vid & my hood. No, you don't need to put any screen at the bottom of the vent. Do things right and put your INTERCOOLER there instead! The hole is actually not big enough for my intercooler... Well its pretty close, ducting & sealing will make it perfect though.

If shine makes these I'd probably pick one up down the line just to have a spare. Not anytime soon though. If it is an actual panspeed hood that Ken has to replicate. Ken, the panspeed hood has 2 vents, the big main one and a small one over the turbo area.

Well. Panspeed is the one I got. Just received it from Japan roughly 2 weeks ago. I haven't had time to open the box to see what it looks like. I was surprised that it even arrived.
