This thread might be a year old but you have obviously not READ the thread, I dont think anyone needs any more freaking out added to the thread, Ken received the part to START working on it at the END of OCTOBER 2008 that is little more than 6 months ago, then after they had already started on it we all asked to make sure the skeleton was actually built into the part so we could have stock sunroof mounting/headliner options etc. THEN for another two months until JANUARY 2009 we were all jacking around with the CLIPS that Ken needed to work on building this skeleton, so given all the information he has actually been working on the part for about 4 months total, not long for a quality part honestly.

I dont think this thread needs more Re-sign ups unless Ken asks, he knows interested and its not like EVERY single person with an FC doesnt need this part, **** I need TWO actually. Lets just let Ken work on the part and respond here when he wants to, please.

 

My jawn is starting to rust really bad. Need this soon or I might have to bite the bullet on another metal one.

 

What makes you assume I haven't read the thread kid, I've probably been
one of the only three people in contact and offering parts for his mold. Sit
your yippy *** down and shut the **** up. Your ethug bullshit has been
seriously pissing me off lately. I was and still am one of the first to
recommend, sign up, and follow through with this thread. I'm trying to
keep Kens best interests in mind, even offering mold offs of my R-Magic
wing while its located by him. I don't want to see my chances of getting
a quality part debilitated by deadbeats and punks with more words than
money. I will continue to sit in this thread for another year if needed to
get what I origionally signed up for.....

Alright guys. I haven't read all the posts, so I'll just keep it short.

Mold is done. I should have the first part this week. The underside is currently smooth. Someone is dropping off the clips to me later. I have to think about how these need to be integrated. However, if you don't need the clips... these should be available for purchasing soon.

For those of you that care about the actual product we are talking about here, I spoke to Ken yesterday. He IS NOT TAKING MONEY NOR DOES HE WANT ANYONE TO CALL OR PAY FOR THIS PART.

The first panel literally is going to be done Wednesday or Thursday, that panel goes to JT for actually giving Ken the sunroof from which the panel is made from, the second panel goes to me for other reasons that are similiar, from #3 on down to 27 or 30 how many ever people actually show up to buy and are still interested, once he has the pictures posted and the first few done #3,4,5 etc he will start just accepting money from people, probably a week or two away tops.


As a side note JT I though you were dropping the clips off a LONGGGGG time ago Ken told me you still never gave him clips ? With that said the first series of roof panels will NOT have a skeleton system / clip system for attaching the cloth, it will be double sided tape only, Ken told me the unit looks good enough bare to be left alone though. but if you are stone set on getting a skeleton for stock roof attachment you are going to have to wait for JT or someone else to give Ken the clips. I thought this was all handled but apparently not.


Also those of you waiting on Carbon Fiber Doors bitch at JT also he was to drop the T2 doors at Shine but hasnt been able to yet Or if anyone local has T2 only doors they can give to Ken for a while you would be first in line for the part at least.
