Seriously? That's really childish in my opinion.
You've got a guy trying to run a business, design/make parts, fill orders, ship things out, etc. etc. and you expect him to just stop whatever he's doing and answer the phone everytime it rings? Why not just shoot him an email?

I had tried to get in touch with him as well, there was a sale and I finally got in touch3 days after the sale had ended when I was then told the sale price would not honored. Needless to say I purchased nothing.
I'm sorry but If they are that busy hire someone else to answer the phones and return emails

There are other ways of communication besides calling also. If you've been trying to call for 2 months, why not use one of those minutes in that 2 month period to send an e-mail, or a PM through here. It might take him a couple of days, but he always responds.

I apologize for any inconvenience anyone has had trying to get a hold of us. I am well aware we are hard to get ahold of, but we will eventually get to you.
There are other ways of getting a hold of us other than calling. Calling is fine, but please leave a clear message or at the very least clearly leave your number (twice if you have to) if no one answers. I don't know how many times I've had to repeat a message left over and over again just to figure out what phone number was left. If I can't figure it out, most likely I will stop trying and obviously not call back. Just 3 days ago, I got a chance to check out all of our inbox phone messages. Today it is full again. I spend on average 10-25 min with a customer over the phone, so often times it is impossible to get to every message in 1 day. Also, we have one phone line, so if I am on a phone with a customer, chances are you will not be able to get through.
I personally answer emails first as it is most convenient and can be pretty much done at any time of the day or week. However, we do average 20-30 emails a day.
In regards to Pms... forget about it. There's no way i can get to the pms. We currently have 300 pms unanswered. That is only on rx7club...
Alot of these are repeats as well as a customer would Pm, email, and call so I have to figure out if I've already taken cared of a person or not.
We're around from about 12-7 PST to take calls and I do take time for a lunch as well. We are operating as a manufacturer as well as a retailer that takes care of a order, which is unheard of in this industry. We'd like to think we can do both jobs well, but sometimes we just can't. However we do, we will always look after the manufacturing side first to make sure we offer consistently well built products and also take care of an order as promptly as we can.

Answering phones and answering emails requires extensive knowledge of our products and about aero aftermarket parts in general. Taking care of the customers' needs and closing the sale is what we need. Finding someone who has the knowledge an ability to do this is not easy. It is certainly not as easy just simply hiring someone on the spot.
Often times we get other questions like wheel offset recommendations, tire size recommendations, aero parts combination opinions, car color choice opinions... and the list goes on. Not many people are knowledgeable in that aspect and I'm am sure most people do business with us because they seek my personal opinion on certain matters. Of course I'm not the only person who can do this, but someone who does needs extensive experience in the industry and should also have a strong understanding of the trends , setups, etc...If a customer is in need of something and we do not offer it and I have good leads, I have no problem pointing that person in the right direction. Anyone who has dealt with me knows the kind of service I give. It will be difficult to find a person , right now, that can do all of this. Sure there are orders tha can be take cared of fairly easily, but for the most part there quite a bit of personalized service involved to better the experience for the customer.

Hard to get a hold of via telephone. I've only been able to get ahold of him one once that way. Shine needs a secretary. But Ken responds to emails. Very nice and polite guy. Helped me out with answering questions about a product and dealt with a package fedex damaged for me.

There are two sides to every story. As a customer we want everything now! and our way. If it were me and I had other options might have gone else where for the product. As a business, costs have alot to do with the longevity and survival of a business. If they miss that many calls that they are loosing business that may be something that they need to address. Either way it is what it is. I got my purchase from Ken. thanks. Haven't been able to reach him since because I wanted to add to the order but its only been a week so well see
