I'll change mine.I own the Facebook Mazda club with over 1,600 members, and they all got invites. So we already have 9 "confirmed guests". I am trying to help ya out!

Also Billy, since you found my Facebook page, add yourself to the "attending" and I'll make you an admin of that one.

are pets allowed? More specifically dogs? I don't want to bring one but someone asked me so I'm asking you.

IIRC, Road Atlanta doesn't allow pets.

I'm registered for Saturday! So it's just $5.00 at the gate per car, right?

Sabine will be attending.

is there a "sign up by date" or is this something that can also be done at the track?

You must pre-register. We have to have a head count.

Registration ends at the end of the month. It *MAY* get extended but I will not guarantee that. We need time to account for attendees shirts and other goodies.

Camping is free and there will plenty of room I am sure.

alright that's cool. kinda concerned about the stock brakes. they might be ok in the autox but might not do so well on the track with the faster pace.

I wouldn't worry about the brakes, Michael. Road Atlanta isn't particularly hard on brakes, plus you've got lots of straightaway time after heaving braking zone. Any reasonably competent car (your FB qualifies ) will do fine.

I absolutely love that banner! I see a lot of photos that I took used in it! I would love to meet with the man you're using for graphic design Billy, I plan on taking a LOT more pictures this year and maybe he and I can work on advertising for the following year. I am going to try and cover the event as one of the main photographers the best I can and I will supply anyone who attends with as many free photos as they want. Just come up and talk to me, exchange info, guideme to the car you want photos of, and I'll email full resolution photos. I'm also going to try and piece together a CD for you to have access to all the photos for advertising next year's event.

I posted on the zoom fest sight as well. I didn't see an option on the registration page or is that through SCCA?

Tim, and Others.

The PDX registration is through the SCCA directly After you have signed up for Zoom-Fest through our site.

The registration is open for the PDX currently. When signing up it will ask you for your SCCA member info. If you are not a SCCA member currently you will need to wait until Monday-Tuesday to sign up. We will give you the info you need to use in place of the SCCA member info.

We are simply waiting for the organizer to get back from the SCCA June Sprints to answer the questions.

PDX Registration is open!!

After you have registered for Zoom-Fest, Follow this link the the SCCA website. -> http://www.atlantascca.org/

In the middle of the page you will see:
"Register Now for July Double SARRC, Pro-IT and PDX"

First read the rules by clicking on "PDX SUPPS"
Then
Sign up by clicking "REGISTER ONLINE"

1) At the bottom of the page you will see "I am a new user" button to click.
2) Fill in your name, email address and zip then click "continue"
3) Fill in the rest of the required info then click "continue"
4) When asked for SCCA info use this:

Member Number = 007
Membership Expiration = 08/01/09
SCCA Region = 3
Competition License Level = N/A

5) Fill in Make, year and Model and leave the rest blank (unless you really want to fill it in) - Click "continue"
6) Driving experience is not necessary to fill in unless you plan to select the "advanced" group. - Click "continue"
7) Click the check box next to "PDX". It will drop down for you to choose the last option - "PDX (other) - Driving" @ $100

Choose a class in the pull down. Do not choose a class higher than your experience. Rule of thumb is: If you have not ran a PDX in the past you will be group "A". If you have run before and were signed off you are group "B". Make sure to bring your log book from past events in order to not be automatically put in the "A" group.

Read the waiver and then check the box then click "Preview Order"

NOTE: You will need LONG sleeve shirt, LONG sleeve pants and a helmet that meets the rules.

If you show maturity and show you understand the correct lines more than likely your instructor is not going to ask you to back off. Besides you are not going to be able to hit 150 anyways.
