What is the cost for running on the track? Is it just going to be 3 20 min sessions or is it 3 sessions per driving group? Is it going to work like a normal HPDE? If so is it going to be divided by experience, car type, etc.?

Hey Billy, wanted to drop a line. Got to a Miata business meeting about the yearly schedule, and they penciled ZOOM FEST in. Got a few guys interested in it so far, about 6 are 90% sure they will be there. I have a few more places to go to spread the word in the miata world

Hey Billy, How bout some event ideas,,: 1) Engine building competition. ( maybe just the build and turn over not run..for money purposes of seals etc..)2) fastest brake change,3) loudest exhaust, most HC's into the enviroment.3) Porting competition, inspired by stories of Chad's beer can porting episode.
Just some fun food for thought. I have a s4 n/a engine I can bring down for the build contest if desired. Can't wait till then. Should have the FD rebuilt by then too.

Hey Billy,
I'm sure the event schedule is staring me in the face and I'm overlooking it, but can you tell me if the HPDE is going to be on Saturday or Sunday? I'm only going to be able to make it on Sunday due to my little brother getting married on Saturday. Thanks.

Don't forget about the autoX. $50 is super cheap for the kind of event we will have. Also the PDX for those with the kohones to get on the track with us . SCCA will open that registration about a month before the event. Should be around $100.

No, It is:
$30 for Zoom-Fest Registration, This covers everything minus the options listed below.
$5.00 per car when you get to the track (Paid To Road Atlanta directly - We could not get this waived)
$50 IF you want to run the AutoX, Sunday Afternoon
$100 (approx cost) IF you want to run the PDX, Sunday Morning
We do encourage attendees to sign up for the optional competition events but they are not mandatory.

So, if I wanted to come Saturday night. (i most likely cannot get off work that saturday, since I will be out of town all the week before) and I wanted to run the auto cross, it would be $50 total or $80 total +$5 parking?

The way I understand it is you need to pay the zoom-fest registration, and then the cost of what ever event you want to do.
The PDX and Autocross is at a discounted rate for zoom fest members that weekend.

Just wanted to add onto what Chad was saying. The PDX and autox/time attack are optional. The PDX is offered at a discounted rate for people who sign up for Zoom-Fest. Also, the autox/time attack is only available to those who register for Zoom-Fest. No one else will be allowed to use it except for Zoom-Fest participants. So this will be a great chance to get some seat time in.
