Drove to Daytona to meet up with Garret and pick up my Rolex24 tickets!! Did a few pulls next to G's car and then managed to blow the hell out of my turbo manifold gasket on the way home... Easy, but damn its a lot of work to get to that thing...

Bought an RB header. I'll have to sort something out for the cat, looking at the RB site I'm guessing it won't bolt up. That's alright though, got a decent deal on the header. It'll get installed before the rest of the car is ready for the track.

Finally fixed the turbo inlet on the t2 i recently acquired and sucessfully adjusted the tps. Exhaust note sounds a lot better, but now the idle fluctuates between 1k and 1.5k... Might be a vac leak... Havent got time to figure it out yet

Yeah, it was my old car.
I sold it in 2008 and regretted it since then.
It came up forsale again and I got lucky getting her back.

Thanks man

Everybody going to the 24 needs to come see some real racing at the 12 Hours of Sebring.

I have been wanting to go to this. I missed it last year being my first year living in FL. I am going to try and make it this year. What makes it so much better?

Got the darkside running and moving under its own power.. then found out the power lead to the new fan relay was too high of a gauge but crisis adverted!

Attempted to fit old sparco seats from e30 into vert 91 rx7... fail. This is why when I hopefully purchase an FD at the end of the year its going to have to be slick top.

That sinking feeling when you have the door completely apart trying to diagnose why the passenger window wont work then you pull the motor and plug it in into your other rx7 to have it work and remember the friggen child window lock disables the driverside from controlling the passenger window too... there went and hour ! lol

However the good news is the car made it around the neighborhood ring(~1.5mi) without any smoke or smells! this is an ex fire rebuild so it makes me happy. still have to get the fans working have to run new wire for it.

Finally changed the oil in my 86 that I got running for the first time in 6 years. Only 2.5 quarts came out!
