Got motivated today, so i swapped out my beat up dash and worn front carpet for some nicer pieces and installed a new evaporator and expansion valve while i was as it. Got it all back together again and now just waiting for my r-12 cans to arrive!! Cant wait to have some cold a/c blowing in the second gen again. Cant take that Florida heat anymore!!

i installed the hood, styrofoam, rear bumper, rear lights, license plate, ripped out some carpet and sound dampening, installed new air filter for intake, vaccumed interior, cleaned engine bay.
to do tomorrow: relocate driver seat 6 inches back, cut out more carpet, get new battery, spark plugs, spark plug wires, and stuff for oil change, order my new fuel pressure reg, wash exterior, get all new fuses, install all of the above, wash the exterior, then prep for primer (and eventually white pearl gloss paint job )

bumper completely installed, and is solid. taillights installed, installed apexi n1 dual catback system, removed shift boot, and of course cut more carpet pieces/extra plastic pieces.
no pics of carpet as the wiring is not how i like it just yet, and its ugly for now.

soon to come: painting turn signals smoked black, installing them, installing covers for side markers, also smoked black and removing steering wheel/ installing momo detachable wheel.

Wow.. That is terrible. I ******* hate thieves. Cowards....All of them...

The last several weeks I have been working on a few different projects. I finally got a fuse block installed to clean up power distribution to gauges/boost controller/etc., while I was doing all that wiring I decided to wire up and install my AI system (finally) and I tied it to my boost controller for a failsafe. I also made a nice ducting plate out of cf to help direct air through my IC up by the front of the car next to the hood release, and I also made a dual gauge pod out of cf to fit into the center speaker spot and hold my AI controller/gauge. Oh yeah, and I installed my shine FEED replica cf sides.

Now I am still just waiting on Kirk to finish my roll bar...

Few pics:
I utilized my rear wiper fluid tank for the AI system. The way the tank is designed is great to make the most of available volume as well as low level sensor placement. I am concerned about it on track days (only holds ~0.25gal)... Once the rear carpet and plastic goes back in, it is all hidden and looks completely OEM. Oh, and those hoses are now more secure and cannot move. I also think I could clean it up quite a bit more by using 2 90degree fittings on the pump. I need to contact CM for those...

Gauge pod with AI controller. This is version 1 of the pod. Right now it is just not up to my standards of design and final product so I bet I end up canning this one and making another one soon. It needs some sort of hood design to clean it up as well as block sunlight off of the screen better. Not to mention a few fitment issues that are very disappointing. This was also the second part ever I made out of CF..

Front CF air duct: First part I ever made out of CF.. I think it turned out pretty good but could be better in a few areas.

Sides. I know 99% of the RX7 community has these now but that is ok with me. They are a clean look and are just "that little something extra" I wanted on the exterior.
