This thread isn't only for work you do on your car right?

I ran over a huge shredded tire in the middle of the highway and *bleeped* up my R1 lip

Hopefully I can save it

That is one way to get rid of it, I prefer mine taken off, no more scraping when parking.

It is already sold back to Bryan at RX7 Boutique. He sold it to me originally at pretty much near cost to him as a favor. I told him that if I ever decided to part with it I would return the favor and sell it back to him.

He could have sold that thing for $950 - ??? given how rare it is and he had buyers ready to pay it if I passed on it....I was fortunate to have first dibs from him. I honor my commitments and any profit to be made on that cluster was his to begin with. I was fortunate enough to sport it for a while. Now..its fluff and must go.

I sport the rx7boutique.com on my sig because of things like this...he is a stand up guy who believes in his customer service and friends over any profits. He believes in this community as well. Even a V8/former rotary guy has to support loyalty in friendship and community.

Ok..off the mush box. Think of it as me saving you money lol.

Gringo should take that thing (CF spoiler) off this week. I'm outta town for a few days. Pics up when I can and I'll let you know price on spoiler....

So at DGRR the FD electrical gremlins attacked my fan motor. Motor started going bad and pulling more amps than it should...60 amps vs 28-30 amps...melted my fuse (my fuse was too high). Had to remove the fuse an direct wire to the battery via the 70 amp relay. Worked fine to get home but was heating up the 12 AWG wires pretty good.

Purchased new 2003 Volvo S80 fan and shroud assembly, 16" 2400 CFM. Had to trim all the shroud tabs and drill some holes to fit the Hinson radiator setup. Fan back in place...now to wire some 10awg and new relay...then back in business!!
