Working on installing my Kirk Roll Bar. The reports of old are still true, fitment is a bitch, packaging was poor and the thing was all scratched up, and the comparing to old pics on here the rear bar design is a bit different...

 

Well look at the bright side, at least it's not like he has 11 years left on his contract

 

12.7 mm stud kit arrived

tap and plug water pump housing turbo water feed line nipples. no water hose caps allowed on my engine build.

will also tap and plug rear iron turbo water nipple.

 

i didn't do much but clean my rear iron and find out that SOME ******* NUMB-NUT ***** HIT MY ******* CAR AND PUT A HUGE DENT IN MY DRIVERSIDE DOOR!!!
>( I HAD IT PAINTED A MONTH AGO!?!?

 

Added air to tires, cleaned/rainx windows, armor all, more packing.

 

Vacummed and cleaned interior..... Getting ready for DGRR !!!

Thanks... Car is in the same exact condition as last years DGRR event... so All is good...

Oil is fresh...0 miles...(Royal Purple)
Spark plugs have 20 miles....
Tank is full of 110 octane with 10 gallons making the trip with me...
Diff/Tranny fluids have about 7K miles......(Royal Purple)
Brake fluid has about 7K miles.....( Motul RB600 )
Brake pads have about 7K miles......
Tires have 900 miles....
etc...etc..etc...

 

Changed oil getting ready for DGRR and made some minor suspension adjustments. Tomorrow is for headlights, spark plugs, and hood latches.

 

cleaned and recharged K&N filter...man that thing gets dirty when direct to air!

 

My goal is to bring the dirtiest and slowest FD to DGRR. I may try and wash it though.

 

Installed mid pipe today, still not boosting to 10psi. Rules out the cat as the culprit, time to recheck the hoses.

 

New K&N Filters and new plugs!

 

anyone in the tampa or surrounding area have an old t4 turbo exhaust housing laying around? i need one to get my cars exhaust and what not mocked up til i can order my new turbo. thanks, Josh

 

I made it to Atlanta in 9 hours from Miami
That includes making it to Gainesville, filling up with gas, and realising i left my wallet at home
I almost called Eddie for a payday loan, but my bank helped me out....so im straight

Water temps hit 102* today in the afternoon but when down to 98* at 5pm. I used the AC the whole trip. My intake temps were 50* at 2pm

 

Jesus. 102? What is your IC setup like? Man I would have been happy to loan you money Moose. How does 25% interest and 7 points sound? =D

Things that were NOT accomplished before DGRR: Installing headlight covers on EVO-R kit, installing Aerocatch latches on my floppy Shine/FEED Hood and installing passenger door panel with SBG "unbreakable" interior handle.

Slowest (and possibly dirtiest) FD in Florida is ready to go!

 

Kevin you forgot the part that you have an extra fd in your dirty fd

 

Just my .02... if you ruled that out, throw your cat back on until you have a proper ECU/fuel.

Once you throw that downpipe on (or do you already have one?) and figure out that boost issue - you'll be in dangerous territory.

Straight exhaust without an ECU is a recipe for a nice new streetport engine.
