Wastegate porting in Orlando?

can anyone recommend a good place to get my wastegate (on stock turbo) ported in Orlando? I talked to Jose at Fuego but it sounded like he hadnt done it before, so I'd like to find another place. And preferably very cheap...

you are a cheap tool my friend. if it was so easy that it should be cheap then go do it your damn self. i hate that people who cannot and have never done a task decide it should be "cheap". yet worry about the quality of the work they get........

wow dude.

All i meant is that different shops will charge different prices often to do the same job. Obviously if I took it to the best shop in town they would do a great job but the labor would be expensive. Since I'm not talking about rebuilding a motor here (yes, porting a wastegate IS a fairly straight foward process, and I WOULD do it myself if I had welding equipment,) I figure I don't need to take it to the best (and most expensive) shop in town. So all I was asking was if anyone could recommend a place.

Jeez. If you have nothing useful to offer, why bother posting? I know I'm just a noob and you have obviously been on here for a while, but I think in this case you are out of line my friend.

Honestly, you can do it yourself. I was intimidated by it untill I actually got into it and started porting mine. It took all of 45 minutes. I used a 2 speed dremel and an aluminum oxide grinding bit

The hardest part will probably be removing your turbo(s).

Right on. I'm actually not too not too worried about the porting part, but the welding of a larger flapper door. Since I am pretty new to the area I don't have any friends who can help with the welding, so I would have to take it to a shop for that...

How is that trash talking bro? Listen i am not gonna get on a ''net war'' with you or anyone else. But i am not gonna sit and see someone try to sell a worn out 10ae thats on its last leg for a stupid price.

If i saw that you were gonna get burned would it be right for me to not tell you or anyone else?

I know your just mad becuase i never responded to your door handle deal, but thats all good. But i do not talk trash, i am 34 and have owned alot of rx-7's and i know what is good and what is not. Period. So your insinuation of me being a juvenile is not gonna fly. Especially with the many people who know mw and know that i am a true enthusiest.

And further more the gentleman who started this thread is the owner of my old T2, and he himself will tell you that i dont get into starting **** or hurting peoples feelings. How can you defend someone who is knocking jurr1981 for trying to save money by asking questions. Please bro lets not go there, lets just end this before you get your feelingd hurt.

Blake

Here's a couple of pics of the finished port job. I didn't think to snap a few before I started to have a comparison.

HDP you are very helpful and i am sure when Jeremy sees that he is gonna like it. He just called me and confirmed that the T2 is up and running from a rebuild from Fuego Racing in Orlando.
