Andrew, wish I had known you were there. I was at Kilo Racing that day and would have swung by on my way home.

I didn't leave Orlando until about 9 pm so I could have easily swung by - too bad. I did see that car at Kilo and am now putting two and two together. The guy that owns it said he had just had his car tuned by Steve and I never thought to ask if it was Steve Kan. It appears, from the initial inspection, the engine has a compression problem but that may have changed after I left. Kilo was speaking about having to take the engine out.

I know your pain with having to deal with the heat that day. I went to the dyno also to see what the car would do at 18 PSI. We made about 600 WHP at 6,700 RPMs and then shut it down. The shop's RPM and torque readings were not working so I couldn't get a clean dyno sheet. The heat and humidity was killing the power also and then the shop's fan stopped working on high so that was it for me.

On the good news front, the WHP curve was a straight line that went up at a 45 degree angle and didn't stop so we're going to be in the 650-700 WHP range easily.

Hey David,
I should be back in Orlando sometime during the summer.
I made new freinds up there.
As soon as i get my AC, bumper, manual steering rack, and twin oil coolers installed. We could probably meet up with the Orlando Crew. Maybe a Cars and Coffee type thing thing? I probably wont be ready till July thought. Lots of stuff to do. (BTW check out my fontana dam video on the DGRR thread)
