SC Sept 27-28 Autocross upstate sc

Is anybody else going? Id like to see a bunch of 7s at this event here is some info

On September 27-28, SCR is joining forces with Central Carolinas Region to present the "Black Lake Shooutout," a 2-day autocross at the Michelin Proving Grounds in Laurens, SC.

Online Registration:
http://www.scsportscar.com/blacklake

Schedule, Info, and Supplemental Rules (PDF - please read!!)
http://www.scsportscar.com/blacklake/rules.pdf

Directions to Michelin (Google Maps)
http://tinyurl.com/blacklakedirections

We're VERY excited about this event, and hope that it will be one of the largest and most successful events in both regions' histories. It will be run slightly differently from a "normal" SCR autocross, so be sure to read the supplemental rules. In particular, here are a few details you need to know:

** This event is a joint venture of South Carolina Region and Central Carolinas Region SCCA. It will earn championship points for both regions' series, but anyone may participate, regardless of membership.

** Both courses for this event have been custom designed by Roger Johnson, the renowned Solo Nationals course designer and author of the Solo Course Design Manual.

** Due to Michelin site restrictions, NO ONE under 18 may participate in this event. Minors are permitted to be on site with a minor waiver signed by both parents. We apologize for any inconvenience.

** Grid spaces will be preassigned, due to the expected large turnout. All cars must register using a number from 0-99. No 3-digit numbers are permitted, except for 2-driver cars: the second driver must register with 100+[first driver's number], as in 99 and 199.

About the Michelin Proving Grounds

The Michelin Proving Grounds is a secure test facility in Laurens, SC. Its test pad, known as the "Black Lake," is a 1400 ft x 400 ft slab of smooth, obstacle-free asphalt, making it one of the most desirable autocross sites in the southeast.

My red FC will do an autoX way better than the gray FC.

btw, now the grey FC's going to have a bad driveshaft, cause I had to swap it for the red FC's sake.

I would be there, but I've got plans that I can't cancel. When is the next one that'll be held in the area?

looks like quite a long course there. too much going on sat for me to make it. but still may be able to swing by on sun, only too late for registration for running that day. maybe they'll do fun runs later on?
