hmm, i dont know if the sarchasm was taken as me against the 850R? you see, i would've actually liked driving one of those around if i could've found one back when i liked them. i love the growl of an inline 5 turbo. haha. not to mention kicking peoples asses and getting the "wait was that a volvo?". true the S60R is more comfortable but meh.

 

i know this is OT but does anyone know how a s60r would stand up against a modded evo ix mr?

 

hrmm it might do ok. it weighs 600lbs less than the evo. I've heard they've got a hard time hooking up, but it'd be interesting to see. costs about the same too

I think honestly i'd go with the V70R though. Nothing beats whooping up on mustangs in a station wagon

 

haha, I know him and if I recall correctly, he did it on purpose.. that FD had over 100k on it and that original motor was on its last leg..

ok i don't know what clam to fame the other volvos people have mewntioned have but the 1989 Volvo 740 Turbo Intercooler wagon was the worlds fastest production car of 1989. This is info i got frommy father so don't yell at me. personaly i think worlds fastest Production Wagon for 89 is more likely.
