im hoping to get my freind cody to comeand have himdrive insteadof havemy dad come. codys not as restrictive on who he drives. plus it will be fun to watch him slam on the brakes. (he drives a 1969 C10 chevy pickup with a 350 swap, no power brakes,no poersteering, a 3 spd manua, oh and his steering wheel is smaller than my RX-7s

we got toby's new FC running today!! its a charcoal primered 87 GXL with LSD... he found it sitting in a junkyard a few weeks ago

All it needed to get it started was a gas tank flush and a new fuel pump. it started right up, then we found out the trailing coil was broken and it needs a new alternator, and the brakes dont work, as well as teh clutch, lol but i htink its still a decent find

it smoked like a bitch, clouded the neighbor hood behind our house with smoke, lol hopefully it was just the ATF burning off. tomorrow we're going to try to figure out why the brakes wont bleed, maybe a bad master cylinder?

i love resurrecting junk FC's!! haha

there were a lot more than 100 850R's made. but you forget the fastest volvo there is. the S60R!

but the 740 turbo and the 240 diesel are two completely different beasts. in a 240 diesel it takes about 2 hours to get to 60!

it was extreme sarchasm... finding anyone cruising around in an 850R in the upstate is rare... but a 5speed 850R is even more hard to come by. yeah i forgot the S60R but i dont like those volvo's much. im attracted to the older body styles when it comes to cars. from early 90's to mid 90's in any make or model.

anywho, looks like the conditions so far for skiing are going to suck ***. not saying for sure but its looking better for my attendance @ the meet this round. later fellas.
