this would be permanent. We own the server, it's a colo box out west somewhere with 90%+ uptime. If you want to see what it would look like, www.msccnc.org/forum
would cost about $120/year if we wanted our own domain name. Less if you want to combine with MSCCNC and just have sc-specific forums. That's only $10/person for 12 people...
what we've done at MSCCNC is have partnership links with TireRack and Amazon. Everyone needs tires sometime, and most of us are students - textbooks are a big deal every year. The partnerships give a commission for directing traffic there - 2 sets of tires + some books every year bought through our site and the site is paid for.
Just a thought.

pricey for unlimited space and bandwidth? We did shop around for it, and we don't have to deal with upgrades/php/mysql issues, and we have our own email server. IMHO, it's worth it. If you can find cheaper, that will let you run PHPbb and a decent CMS, then please share. Are you talking about hosting it on a box in a server farm that's got at least fiber, or something you're running from home?

DreamHost is who I use. It looks like the price you got is pretty comparable to their prices now. I got in on a deal a few years back and pay $97 every 2 years. I've currently just shy of 400GB of storage and 8TB of transfer monthly. I seriously doubt the SC club could put a dent in it. In the 5 years I've been using them I've only had about 8 hours of downtime total.

seriously its not bad... We installed an S5 turbo as well and they spool faster as you might know. But the pick-up is really fast in between gears. Shifting from one gear to the next theres no lag.
GReddy states that the 2-row is for the stock turbo on FC's.

That is a good deal for hosting. I assume you could do the same thing we did, set up amazon & tire rack & whoever associate programs and that would pay for your hosting pretty easily.
Where are you at? We should get together in person and talk about this (caveat: once exams are over on Dec. 14th).

because for my hp goals a 3 rotor is a retarded waste of money. if i were to put in a 20b it would have to be for 1000+ whp. i guess thats what ill do when i get tired of this setup.

Thats the exact thing you shouldn't do.
Even if the thought of a 20b is in your mind but its not serious, you should just consider it serious.
So stop what your doing with the 13bt, and put that money toward the 20b fund.
btw, the 20b needs to be back in the scrx7club.
1000hp 20b, FTMFW!

I did mine on the cheap (until you get to the part where the rebuild sucked), and it was a primarily stock setup. I don't even like to think about the cost involved in doing a 1000+ HP buildup. Masin is doing fine as is. A 20B build is more of a 'project' than an overnight drop in.
BTW, anyone have a stock TII clutch/PP I can have? That's all I'm lacking to swap the rest of the driveline on the vert.
