Damn good numbers. You just have the RB exhaust and FCD, right? BTW, thats what stock FD's usually put down.

Give me a call this weekend, Im really interested to see what that manifold will do. The porting made a very noticable difference on my fc, both in feel and the changes I had to make to the fuel map to get the AFR's back on target. It was close to +15% at 4500 rpm, tapering off to +5% at 9500 rpm.

 

javier- i have a 85fuel tank at eds that i am picking up when he gets back from slaying the dragon w/ ian.... working on moving my garage around this weekend... i have to make room for the impala to go inside... it should be here by the end of this month, maybe the mid of the month next month..

Ian's 7 runs great. I got to drive it this weekend, handles well too. The suspension and tires were great, when I got to kick it out on a couple of curves. It's the only non-turbo, carbed car I have driven recently that I liked driving.

Can't wait to check it out next time with all the other plans you have for it. Thanks Ian baby! What a great ride and drive. Since I drove it and felt the handling, I would feel better about you driving it the way you like to. I just needed to feel it for myself.

Ian whipped some turbo ***. Sorry Ed. Auto cross and check out your suspension and give Ian hell next time.

fjd- i tried to call you back, but didn't get an anwser...

 

It wasn't Ed's Turbo, it was the curves. Ed just needs some place to kick out the car on the curves, without fear of how it will handle. I think the FC had more of a lean in the curves and it doesn't feel as comfortable in the curves as Ian's FB did, at least to me.

 

AND Dana, why the hell didn't you make it up there? You would have the time of your life.

 

maybe next year i'll make it... i sure do miss the meets we had back in the old days!! what was the name of the mexican restarant across from the big chicken?? then off to the dyno lab afterwards... we always had a great time!!!

not that we don't have great guys at our dyno that will pretty much bend over backwards for us (carter racing)... but art always seemed to be open on car club nights (thursdays)...

yo rotorheads im from waycross ga and there are no rotaries here but me and two 1st gens. When do you meet and is everyone invited! I usually go to j-ville fla to even think about seeing an fd. I have the only t2 turbo for atleast 50 miles as far as i know.
I've been looking for someone to ride with . We have one good road here to ride on and its only about 3 miles long. So i have to rely on street racing for fun.

 

First off, if you value your car, DONT street race. Impound laws are a bitch. Alot of us are outta town, but just keep looking here, and post when you want to show up. Someone will make time Used to have set meets, but we all have crazy schedules, so it's a meet when all of have time.

i have never been accused of being a street racer... but i will say that i haven't backed down from many stoplight challenges... know what i mean?? that is what i call "spirited driving", because you know like i know that if you go driving through savannah on any given night (in your 7) some jdm butt lick is gonna issue the challenge.... and shortly after that you will be issuing the ***-wipp-in... it is gonna happen, it is the way of the rotating universe!!! can't be helped, even if you don't go looking for it... if the force is strong enough, they will come!!!
