Hey Josh can you put a rotary in the Fiero? You taking the wheels off the blue one and adding them to the new one?

yea, the wheels, the suspension, the whole fastback rear, gauges, seats, etc. The wheels will be first, since they are the easiest.

Yep the meets still happen, except this month on the 13th we're doing the GRR meet (check the GRR thread) so get that puppy ready and come on out to it next Saturday.

Thanks Bert. Had an thought for GRR. I hate wearing the things but what about badges for people and some kind of cards or something for the cars so people can match everyones faces/names/cars etc...

And for the banana lovers....no it isn't another girl but it does have 4 wheels!

Here are the directions I copied from the GRR thread, C or D should get you to the rally. There should be signs at the intersections indicated below:

A. Driving directions for I-85 for Rotarians coming from the West of Durham:
1. Get on I-85 north and go thru Durham,
2. Exit at the Red Mill Road, Exit 182, make a right on Red Mill Rd, (sign)
3. Go to the three way intersection, Treyburn, make a right on Teknika Pkwy, (sign)
4. Go about .3 mile and make a left back on to Red Mill Road, (sign)
5. Go about .6 mile and turn right onto Old Oxford Hwy, (sign)
6. Go about 1.5 miles turn left on Stagville Road. (sign)

8. Go another .5 miles to Farlow Farms and watch for the GRR sign on the right, just past Mangum elementary School.
9. Go up the driveway until you see a gathering of Rotary wonders.

B. Driving Directions from the Danville, VA area:

1. Go south to Roxboro, NC and take NC Hwy 501 south toward Durham,
2. At the Bahama Rd intersection make a left onto Bahama Rd, (sign)
3. Go approximately 2 miles to the Bahama intersection, turn left on to Quail Roost Rd,
4. Go another .5 miles to Farlow Farms and watch for the GRR sign on the right, just past Mangum Elementary School,
5. Go up the driveway ‘til you see all the Rotary wonders.

C. Driving Directions from Eastern North Carolina:

1. If coming into Raleigh on US 64, 264 then exit at Hwy 96 toward Wake Forest/Louisburg (sign)

3. Go thru Wake Forest on Hwy 98 and continue about 20 miles to Hwy 70, (sign)
4. Turn right onto Hwy 70 access road and merge onto 70 going toward I-85,
5. Go about 2 miles to the I-85 N merge,
6. Go north on I-85 and exit at Red Mill Rd, Exit 182,
7. Go under I-85 and follow directions from “A3” above.

D. Driving Directions from south of Raleigh:

So far today the headcount for the GRR is 32 commits and 9 maybes. Anyone that sees this and is planning on joining us this Saturday needs to post on the GRR thread their intentions. Everyone is welcome but we need to insure we have enough food and don't forget to bring a rotary or general auto related door prize and $10 for the GRR ticket.

Well, it looks like Jeremy's predictions were right. I'm gonna go broke like everybody else. I just spent $425 on new rims, and I should be getting tires in a few weeks. They're ADR Fuel like Steve's old ones, except a different color.

those are nice wheels. they looked good on steves and i am sure the will look good on yours too. your rotary powered machine is a demanding mistress, she will empty your pockets.

Time to bump this thread up. Hope all you guys had fun at GRR. I had a great time seeing everybody and hanging out. Sorry I had to leave so early, but i had some thing i had to get back for. I guess we will keep having the meets even though winter is setting in. What ever happend to Taylor? We lost Josh for a while, now it looks like the same thing has happend to the him. I guess the owners are about as reliable as there cars

whats up everyone. just wanted to say I had a great time at the GRR! it was the most fun I've had driving my 7 since I bought it 5 months ago. I wanna thank everyone involved and especially Bert. sorry I'm not gonna be able to come to anymore meets since I moved to Florida. GuessI will have to get something going down here. it would be nice if there are as many dedicated 7 owners here as there are there. Oh and by the way I drove the 7 the whole way down here (637 miles in 8.75 hours) without a single problem, well other then a jetta that got me a little worked up. which remindes me, Steve I got a little vibration at about 127 mph, got any ideas on what it could be? haha. once again thanks to everyone for the GRR and maybe I'll have to bring some of the florida guys up for the next one!

Yeah, its probably your wheel balance. Just take it to a local tire shop and tell them that its vibrating at that speed, the always get a kick out of that....
