Anyone want to change our cookout idea and go to VIR instead hah?

Well that's why I'm hesitant about jumping straight to 285, I'm not sure if I can fit them without rolling the fenders even more, maybe even having to flare them. Then again, that's only needed for the wheels to be able to move and the suspension to compress, and to do that the car must be running, BWAHAHAHAHA.

Yes I know you love an abundance of meat in the rear, haha.

That sounds good. The park closes at 5? right so that would give us plenty of time to grill, chill, eat, and then possibly have our cars wander some back roads afterwards. We should wander to those roads Josh discovered.

it all depends on the offset, but you should be able to get at least a 295 in there.

Okay...so, the 10th is the bbq? Grr...can't make it. Work till 6pm that day And the 9th is the meet?

Everyone keeps saying this saturday...but does everyone realize this saturday is the 2nd? People are saying "this weekend" but giving the date as the 9th. So which is it?

And I thought the meets were moving closer to the center/south of the beltline per Fils map? Did we decide against that? Either way, I get off 5:30 the 9th and I'm off on the 2nd, so we should be able to make that meet(depending on how much work we need to do at the house obviously).

loudazzrx7 is talking about the meet in MD, is that what you're referring to? That meet IS this weekend. We had talked about it several months ago already.

Yes the grill out is June 10th, the "this Saturday" reference a few posts back is in reference to the Maryland BBQ. Sorry you can't make it the 10th, but there will be others I'm sure.

We're just trying different places, I'm guess the 4th Saturday meet will be a different location, until we find one that has all the qualities that Char Grill used to have.

okay so i am taking up a collection: i need new tires, headers, and a cam, or about 1500 worth of stuff.

the goal is to break into the 10s at the track. i recently found out that at about the ~425RHWP range I can break into the 10s at the strip. this is not an enormous feat. headers, and a good cam, and i should be in business. might top it with a little spray just to be on the safe side.

any donations will be greatly appreciated. Think about it for a donation of as little as $100 you can make a poor puerto rican kid's dream come true. $100 that is just $3 a day, less than you spend on a cup of coffee.

once i achieve this goal i can start living my life 10 seconds at a time.

And that leads to blowers and drag slicks and alcohol injection and... addictions, hard to break.

not only a picture and a card, the $100 will entitle you to drive the car at the strip, ONCE, haha.

Good thing about these mods, is that they'll help me out on that track too(well on the straights, mostly, but headers will drop about 20lbs off the front), and the stickier tires help everywhere.
