that is the new EVO X. I am tempted, to get one. I am digging the new body style, and they have improved the AWD system (yea i know was it possible to improve on perfection)
We saw one at the auto show, they don't look that great in person imo.

I'm going to try to read as much as I can about what I need and how to do this as to not waste anyone's time, but I may need resources. Resources such as ramps or some tools. Access to a shop with a lift would be ideal, but I'll take whatever. This will probably occur next week. Thanks.
lol, no worries. It's cake. Did it by myself in the driveway with basic tools. Had to remove the driveshaft to change out the tranny.

1. jack up the rear(chock the front wheels first)
2.Unbolt/lower exhaust.
3.Unbolt driveshaft from diff(rotate drive shaft to get access to each of the bolts(hence the raising of the rear)
4. look up at the front of the driveshaft and finish her off

I think that's right from what I remember.

Edit: If you need help I can try to make it out...if I can ever get off work long enough to breathe, lol. Doesn't take long.

Yeah Eric, how's the swap? As for our project...damn. Like Chris said, we needed that part like 2 days ago. That piece is REALLY a piece!!!

We started at Chris' house Friday night at like 10, then finally gave up for the night at 5ish am. Everything else was done by like 1, then for the next 4 hours 3 people struggled and stressed over how the heck to beat this dang thing with what we had(since everywhere was closed). Today, BC welded a rebar on the piece we needed off(thank you by the way, BC) and Chris and Stina removed the part while I was at work...Yeah...so...then the Shock wouldn't come out. Need to replace it. LOOKS like we have a source to have it Tuesday, but we're trying to arrange for me to get one I can buy to pick up Tomorrow after work...if anyone really cared I hope you enjoyed that write up...and if you're still reading you are probably involved in the project, lol. Anyone, wanted to say thanks to BC for the weld and to Chris for letting us use his garage and for all of his help. Couldn't have even gotten as far as we did without your help. And tell your friend I said thanks again(since he prolly doesn't log on here). Okay, done posting tonight..I think. See y'all soon.

Ok experts... changed my brake pads today (front and rear to hawk ceramics) and now I've got a rattle at low speeds (<10mph) from one of the rears. What's the most likely reason? I did not change the rotors... they still looked ok to me (although I did soap+water them based on hawks instructions).

Ah the swap...well, when I got home I was just kinda messing around for a while, putting off working on the car. I started feeling kinda ill (I hadn't had anything to eat since Steak and Shake at about 2pm with Josh) and I felt hungry, so I figured that's what it was. I still didn't eat anything though cause I just had this GUT feeling (haha, sorry, stupid joke) that it was gonna come back up. At about 11pm I made it out and got the turbos out of the truck (I wasn't going to work on the car right then cause I felt like ****), but once I got them in the garage and saw the car, it got the best of me and I popped the hoood and started removing stuff. I removed the intakes, air pump and some intercooler piping, that's about it. I wasn't in work clothes so I left it at that and went inside. The rest of the night up until a few minutes ago I was putting off the inevitable...not laying down and going to sleep cause I knew what was gonna happen. Sure enough, a few minutes ago I had a good conversation with Mr. Trashcan and I'm feeling much better now, although I think it might be coming back. I thought maybe I was dehydrated (it had happened once before and I took 2 bags of IV) so I started drinking water and eating crackers earlier, but only a very small amount. Well, let's just say I can actually taste Ritz in my nose right now, haha. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be up for working on the car again cause I might be able to get it on there barring any complications.

Oh yeah, Josh, please thank your parents for me for the meal last night, it was great! Are you feeling under the weather from S&S today? Maybe it was that shake, didn't taste quite right when I was drinking it, but hey, it's a shake!

Yeah me too man, it seems like everyone has been sick lately. Most of the time when everyone else is sick it passes right by me, not this time, boy howdy! LOL

That Miata was like a damn banshee, haha. Nice though, fast as hell.

Eric, maybe waiting so long between meals is the problem. I get that way if I do that. I also get cold if I haven't eaten a meal in a long time. I love my new place. Reliable internet connection FTW. Yes, 4:15 am and I'm heading to bed. Long day and night.

Ugh. Rainy mornings suck. Sorry I missed you guys last night. We were so pooped from working on the FB at Chris's house... and I feel like crap today. I think I'm coming down with another sinus infection. Yuck.

They think she has some kind of bacterial infection but aren't real sure. She's been in bed ever since. Hopefully, she's well enough to venture out on Sat.
How is Keri doing now??? Is she better? (Gotta continue reading... you probably already posted an update since you posted this. I'm so behind this week with trying to get my school junk done for the semester.)
