You guys need to visit the lounge more....
From what I read last night...
They've downsized your mailbox from 1000 to 500.... time to clean them up.
They've also been closing some of the absurdly large threads (like this) since it seems to be one of the causes for the lag/lockup/error stuff that's been going on.

I scored Friday the 20th off work, and decided I'd try to make it to DGRR, waiting on Fontana to call me back but I'm not counting on it.
Anyone from RRDI have an extra couch or bed they want to spare for a small fee?
Are some of you still planning on the camp out?

I think I'm gonna start taking everything out tonight to pull the engine. Tomorrow I'm gonna ask to get off Friday, or to take leave Friday anyway. How are we going to get all the supplies down here Josh?

^I probably can't send PMs right now cause my inbox is too full, haha. I have over 492 emails to clear out, so it'll be a while, haha. I think the engine might be gone. I've run Seafoam through it to no avail. It feels like it's unbalanced honestly. The only thing I did the night before all the problems was turn the flywheel, albeit in the wrong direction, but I'm not sure that would make a difference. I don't see how it could. We're talking about pulling it this Friday and rebuilding it and trying to get it back in this weekend if we can. If you want to help you're more than welcome to come down. Let me know (just post on here since I can't get PMs, haha)
It won't let me send private messages either, I think its the whole forum messing up. I don't have school on Friday and have taken out an engine about 2 months ago so I'm pretty familar with it. My car isnt running right, I think electrical it will run fine then shut off all the sudden and then turn back on.

Damn Carl, that sounds pretty strange! So are you gonna run a new harness?
I just talked to Rich Farrell and he swayed me away from pulling the engine. He was saying it sounds like it might be leaky primaries, which I was planning on replacing anyway (ALL of the injectors), so I wanna check that out first before I pull the whole damn thing. It was a pretty long discussion about the whole engine pull though, haha.

Yah, I know, the dealership always has higher prices. I haven't done research on them so I don't know how much it would cost to replace all of them.

carl, i didnt recognize you, or i woulda made a scene. i was at the drivethru. nice ride.
eric, i think i have a set of good primaries out in the garage(will search). that would be an easy fix. well getting down there won't be fun, but you know what i mean. compared to rebuilding an engine. oh and shut your mouth about curses. hahaha.
on a small fix kind of note. i got those adjuster ***** on my coilovers replaced(broke 'em on the trip to GA with Eric). when i got in there i realized that TEIN didn't use stainless on the shaft, so they rusted and the adjuster screw was getting stuck. Caused one to break and the other to strip out. so i replaced both, and put some oil down in there.
just for to clarify the way it works is: adjuster **** -> adjustable screw -> adjustable valve. the adjuster screw is what got stuck, causing the adjuster know to break. cool thing is the whole thing comes apart with one allen wrench (the one they provided)
Nice to be able to adjust my dampeners from hard.
