Saturdays In Raleigh, Nc
What's up guys! This is Andy with red FD. Thanks for all complements about the car!!
Glad to see some of RRDI members + Jacksonville crews there Saturday night.
It was fun and glad to see some very nice condition RX7s there!
I am running GT35R. It is running around 310-320 hp now at 9 psi. I am going to P1 Automotive in SC this Wednesday to get tune before move to Texas. The car will be tuned fairly conservatively (approx 380'ish), what I want is a well balanced car that is streetable while good enough to take on some autocross/track events.
I'll miss you guys and very happy to get a chance to see few of you one last time. For people who is in the process or thinking to covert their FD to single turbo, I'll be happy to share my experience or answer any questions you may.

*sighs*
Year and a half later, still no 7. Will probably take me another year or two at this point... bah. Had to ditch the MX-6 and get a new car, so I'm making $300 a month payments. Two jobs and I can barely save money while going to school. (I go to UNCG now...)
How on earth do you people keep up?

Eric, what kinds of numbers have you come up with for each night per person? Is this more or less than the cabins?

i am not sure i will be making to Deal's Gap. I have a chance to go to Sweden instead. Speaking of which, Eric, you wanna go to Sweden? Free lodging, only need plane ticket and spending money. Stay with hot Swedish party girls. No driving, but it is sure to be a once in a lifetime experience.

In mine (91 NA transmission) it took two full quart bottles and just a tad of a third bottle, then you have to put some in the shifter hole.

My name is Jeff. I'm 20, a Biochemistry major at the University of North Carolina @ Greensboro, and I've lived in North carolina for almost 7 years now. I currently drive a 2006 Chevy Cobalt with no mods, since its an economy car for a reason and I don't want to race with it.
As for particular car choice of what I want, I would like to get an 89-91 Turbo FC. Of course, the only thing that is stopping me is money, which doesn't come easy. I work two jobs while taking 17 semester hours, so there is only so much I can make a year. And since I'm making payments on my current car, I save very slowly... luckily, I have some skill in the stock market, so that helps out a bit.
I used to be a ricer in a way... I had a MX-6 V6, did the whole Intake/Header/Exaust thing, and used to race on the street... until one day I powerslid into a ditch at 60mph. I haven't raced on the street since and only race on the tracks now... which sometimes sucks because there aren't many road/circuit/drift tracks around, and autocross doesn't thrill me that much.
Umm.... yea, that about sums me and my car related history up, :3

I have been locking for a FC with a blown engine/ preferably manual.
If anyone sees or hears of any around, let me know.
Top Secret project.
(that was a hint also)

Andrew Mercier, the local Raleigh guy who was in the Cadillac CTSV(not the pace car one though), forwarded me some information about an upcoming Faasr Performance Driving School event coming up in March at VIR. If anyone is interested it's Marcg 15th. Looks like if you register 30 day's early you get 10% off the registration fee, which is the same offer they provided through Andrew for anyone he get's to sign up before January 31st.

Work will be way too buys for me to even think about taking any more days off in the next few montsh, so I won't be able to go myself. But again if anyone else in iterested it's there and I said I would pass along the info.
