FD owners ARE elitist, but track driving FD owners are the elite elite. they can even look down on othe FD owners. That is the only reason i am going to start going to events. hah
Wasn't me homie. Dammit P-Rod, now everyone is confused cause of your wretched RRDI Juggernaut! LOL

The one in NC is $250 and the one in AZ is $225 shipped.

OK then, I'm convinced, I must become the elite of the elite!

you will never be done. unless you plan on making it a trailer queen. i just realized my hood needs to be painted. it is starting to get that same look as yours. i was kinda hoping to be able to hold off until project: TWINS was done, but some of us keep blowing money on maintenance (not calling out any names, but the initials are E.R.I.C) hahahaahaha

not to mention, the roll cage, sway bars, and headers (similar to a downpipe for you rotary people ) I want to put in this summer. When you think you are done, you will just have more stuff to buy. When all that is done, and project: twins is complete. I will want new wheels, something with a deep lip in the back.

Joey, I agree with only one project car, but just make sure you stick with the one you love the most. that way when she is sucking your bank account dry it won't hurt as much.
Yeah I've pretty much accepted that. I'm afraid I'll never have the money to even ATTEMPT to finish it though, or to get it running right again at least. Well let's wait til your hood looks just like mine, THEN project TWINS will commence, BWAHAHAHA!!! I'll want new wheels by that time too, mine just won't look right at that point. Have you already found a roll cage to fit in an FD with sunroof? Race Shop makes one, actually I already have the harness bar from that kit. The one you mentioned this weekend. I'd have to send the ends of them back and get the ones to fit the cage, but I'd keep the bar itself. How many pt cage are you looking for?

I agree with Josh on choosing the right car so it won't hurt as much, haha. Probably why I'm not putting money into the Prelude anymore.

Oh you're joining in on the dirty joke of me having a box?! LOL Oh, you're talking about my inbox J/K haha. Yeah I haven't cleaned it out all the way yet. I just hate doing that, it's so booooring!!! I guess I need to though. So when are you getting the injectors from Josh? You just needed the primaries?

Yeah I thought the only DSM part on the car was the cruise control module, until I saw that, haha. Now I can see why they're down so much. HAHA

I wish I could see all the pics.

I can do exhaust any time this coming weekend. fri, sat, even sunday, thoguh i have to work sunday night, so id prefer NOT to do it then

Saturday would be best. The reason I havent done it at my apartment is because the apartment complex is kind of iffy about letting me do any work around here.

Phil, my apartment complex is real nice with the exception of the working on cars thing. Its right by the RBC center off wade ave near 40 and 440.

BC
LOL... Greg's not stuck up... you just don't have boobies.

We should all get together and discuss a weekend later this year that we could all go as just the RRDI.

Gotta get all the toys up and running!!!!!

i will double check, but am sure this is the same as last years event.

yea you will need a helmet, and you get an instructor. i could be wrong though, wouldnt be the first time.

Eric, There is a local place that makes custom roll cages for $650ish. All the local guys go to them, track and drag guys. My biggest thing is noggin clearance. I don't want to brain myself while not wearing a helmet, and even worse not be able to fit in with a helmet. The car is almost 14 years old, it is time to tighten her up.

Still have alot to read... gotta go to my Geology class now, though... Rocks FTW!!

Are you guys interested in going to the 7-7-07 barbeque down in Savannah, GA? There should be a decent turnout this year. Check the SE section for updates. It's still in the planning mode right now... but we are coming together if you guys want to join the fun!!

I wanna go to the driving event!!

the FC MIGHT be done by June... depending on $$ issues.

EDIT: Might take the FB, depending on how much I **** myself while driving the dragon next week. I don't know the FB at ALL like I know my FC. Next week is going to be interesting...

That's cool. I have the same thoughts though, kinda dangerous while not wearing a helmet, although it'd be nice to have in the off-chance it does flip though, especially for me since I'm crammed in there anyway, imagine if the roof closed in on me too, I'd be finished, haha. So are you talking about like a full cage or just something like a 4-point running behind the seats? That's what I was thinking of, it would be too hard to get in if it ran to the front too.

Oooh, pirate themed restaurants, right up your alley, haha. ARRRRRR-X7! Haunted tours would be cool too. Wait, are you sure you didn't just go during Halloween?

I'm down for 777, I thought we were having something in Apex though?

Anyone interested in these? I'm thinking about it...

^^^i dunno. i was thinking maybe something that came forward, not just a 4point. depending on what they think they could do. the ones that fit the 7, the cross bar is too far forward. sat in a car with the kirk bar, and when i adjusted the seat for my height, my head was like 2 inches from the bar....not good.

i havent talked to them about specifics yet, but 650 is cheaper than you can buy a kirk or anything else.

I'm down with going to down to the 7-7-07 thing. Since they are so close, I'd be afraid that if we do our own thing it might fragment us, some would go there, some would stay here.

Even if by then I am piston-exclusive.

By the way, Stina and David, the Illumina shocks are AWESOME.

I tagged a FB today. It was at a library that I happened to turn around in while trying to find the DMV. License renewal: done.

edit: By tag I meant put a paper on the windshield with this thread specified.

With black face and polished lip. I want to see if they can make them in 10" or 10.5" for the rear though. Those TSWs are nice too though. I like the 003 and the 962 as well, but the 003 is listed only up to 7.5" width and I really like the mesh design of 006. I'd take any of the three though.

Gimme a call Josh.
