Check out the OGTA - Old guys with 12As club meeting thread https://www.rx7club.com/se-rx-7-foru...75955/page631/
We meet the 1st Tuesday of EVERY month, now at Tilted Kilt at the Mall of Georgia. So come out tomorrow night.
I just relocated from Houston Texas back home to GA. I now live in Canton about 45 minutes north west of Atlanta. I'm in the final stages of probably the 5th complete overhaul of my FD which is a big turbo semi peripheral port streetcar. Given the setup I should be somewhere north of 750 rwhp on big boost. I'm always down to meet new rotorheads, help out wrenching or lend a hand tuning if you're in need.

I'm super glad to finally be back in Georgia.

Welcome back to Georgia Skeese. The Old Guys with 12As (OGTA) regularly get together at the Mall of GA area in Buford, GA. 1st Tuesday of every month. Also do other get togethers with guys from neighboring states. We just had a drive up to North GA mountains with members from AL and NC attending. We're just a big group of rotorheads, no need to have a 12A, 13Bs are fine, and turbo charged. Just be a lover of rotaries. And since this is your 5th go around, you'll be good. Check out the OGTA thread for some more details.

Welcome back to GA man. I would still consider myself still a novice in the rotary world, but I have a 10AE I just got back to running condition after a couple of years of overhaul. I'm always down to meet new folks. I'm up in Acworth/Kennesaw, so we shouldn't be too far away. You're closer to the fun roads anyway.

Thanks for the info! I'll definitely check out the thread and try to make it out sometime. I've been a committed rotorhead now for 7-8 years, what started as a twin turbo stock port car that I initially planned to v8 swap has grown into a rotary addiction with my car evolving to the overkill street monster that it is today. I do all my own tuning and have been routinely tuning rotary engines both remotely and in person now for almost 5 years so I'll likely qualify. Can't wait to meet the GA group!

Hey! That really isn't too far from me. As it turns out, there is a local rx7 scrapyard only a few miles from my house with probably 15-20 FB/FC shells. I met the owner of the yard and he basically just stockpiles it all for parts, so if you are looking for anything FB/FC related....its probably just down the road from me.

I have driven past this place on the weekend per word from a friend spotting it, but I have never dropped in to say hello. That said, I have a good idea of where your area is. Might make a good place to stop by for a meet and greet when the weather isn't so crappy.
