A friend of mine named Dwight 'IslandRX7' who owns a transport biz "AUTOHAULERS" and I have been tinkering with an idea for about a month now to build an RX7 that would be used solely by the members of the SO FLA RX CLUB to practice on., Drifting and to be used as a track car.

Dwight who is from Jamaica and some of you guys met him this past sunday at Watson Island feels like donating an FD which would be gutted and have a roll cage installed along with two racing seats. We visited several places yesterday as some were sponsors of the club.

What they get in return is advertising .. the SO FLA RX CLUB Project car will be painted one solid color. The sponsors will be able to host their company decals and stickers that could be a promotional tool.

Since this is a project car I would like everyone in the club to participate with ideas perhaps even donate some items. I believe that it will be a lot of fun. Once the car is ready.. all you do is put a helmet on and enjoy the ride.

I can think of one person off the top of my head that would really enjoy getting behind the wheel of this PROJECT CAR...

Dwight just called me to let me know that he has purchase a '93 FD .. it is a Silver , 5 speed.

So we have out project car for the SO FLA RX CLUB...

I am planning on having a meet possibly this month so we can check it out and start working on it so we can get out track drift car together...

We will need the roll bar cage , 2 racing seats, 5 point harnesses seat belts, and everything that is required to have a track drift car.

 

I can donate a 3" mandrel bent downpipe if the car is to utilize the stock twins. By the way, Hialeah racetrack is closed down.

This sounds like an awesome idea, but I see the end of the fun coming the first time someone "kisses" a wall with it.

 

thats why we need to find a nice open area with nothing to kiss.. set up some cones..

 

I heard from Alonso 'Racing Line' that some of you went drifting friday night after Towers... that it got a little crazy and out of control.

nope couldnt of been me lol i would get raped by a viper and if u look at the winshieild u will notice it has one of thos things that says something.. i dont think ill ever put a sticker on my car like that

 

It have 2 exhausts, and HKS supper dragger and a Turbo tuff to donate if you want Val. I dont have my FD anymore so i dont really need them. They aint in the best cosmetic shape but im sure they work fine. PM me
