i remember an episode on my classic car where they talked to a guy that owned one. they really didn't steer well in water being as they actually used the front wheels to steer. with a rotary in it, u'd have to devise some sort of fin in line of the props to aide in steering. but it was a site to see, drive up to the lake and right into the water.

Winter Rotary

So today is my last day at the farm.... Not.
I'm leaving today, but Labor Day weekend I am coming back for a day or two...then starting Sep. 11th, I'm back here for another week or so. Of course I'm getting paid handsomely, but still... I just miss my own cat!
Car still looks like ***, btw...
And Holly, I like your new signature! It's cute.

I think Tim has been smoking a little too much herbie lately. Tim are you nuts? You gonna put it in front or in back? Or maybe a little mid engine action, a 12A in the back seat?
I think Mike has a better idea, a rotaryhovercraft:
This could be one of our future OG@TA meetings:

Ray, I'm thinking 140whp and 36-40 mpg with a stock port 12A.
Beetles are about 5-600 lbs lighter than 7s and a whole lot cheaper and easier to get parts for em. I've worked on beetles before and I love the instant, cheap boost in performance I can get from a rotary. Plus it fits right in there. Just have to do some plumbing for the radiator up front and mount the radiator. I have a start on the engine and once I get the beetle roller for the project I'll start a build thread up on it in the Other Rotary section. I'll keep yunz posted on my progress.
BTW the Xroads meet thread is still on top by 400+ posts
