Mr. Nix, that SA is looking very good, we can't wait to see it up here in Buford (along with Paul's SE)

Ray, I did the pressure washer thing just like Tim and it helped but it's tranny fluid. Gets in the paint (31 year old original paint) and takes away that beautiful finish I left Akron with. CarSpa is doing a complete clay bar and starting from scratch. I'm not paying for it. The insurance company is since it happened on their trailer from their truck. They approved the claim so I'm taking the "full Monty" on their dime. Interior ( which is super clean anyway) and engine bay all over again. I'll post pics when it's done.

Hello all! I was recommended to post here by the wonderful Holly! I'm going to try and make it out soon to meet everyone. I have now had my rx7 for three weeks now and she told me this is a great group to become a part of.

Thank you sir! It is an 89. A white on blu s5 is my dream car actually, i also normally am not big on white unless it is a Fc or r32 Skyline.

Not only does it run, I drive it 400-600 miles weekly! The motor is very new and has been takin great care of in its life. Miles on the body is almost 180k. It has a rb header, rb braided oil cooler and brake lines, turbo ll brakes along with lsd. Other then that very stock. I am not running ac, power steering or air pump. I plan to delete all of which. I also don't have a working radio and i do not mind at all. I come from 67-72 Chevy trucks, I like the basics. I'll post a few pictures

That is a pretty FC Kyle, nice find. White makes the car. But of course white makes any RX-7 better.

We hope to see it (and you) at an OGTA meeting soon!

Paul those are nice looking wheels, but they are Rewinds, not Panasports:

Here's what Panasports look like, the real McCoy:

Check out this FC I saw out on I85 yesterday, down around Spaghetti Junction, one of the more interesting ones I've ever seen with the camouflage rag top.

I hope the guy doesn't mind me posting his picture, when he saw the camera he downshifted and took off real fast:

Up north they're both Panasports. I guess I like the rewinds better.

Ray I'll defer to your knowledge of wheels but other than color they look the same to me. I've seen these referred to as Panasports many times. Either way I wish I could get these in a 14" or 15 with 114.3. Just don't exist anymore. Black center with chrome ring would be "****" on mine.

I don't know what offset you need, but search for Konig Rewind, or Rota RB. Both of them are copies of the panasports and available in 15 and 114.3.

As you all know After the ride south I had tranny fluid sprayed all over my 7 transporting it to Savannah from NE Ohio. I chose CadSpa to claybar and restore the shine. Picked it up this morning (yes on a Sunday!) and took a shot of it when Wendell, the owner drive it out of the garage. Back to its full original paint splendor. Thank you Wendell and your guys at CarSpa. I feel a lot better.

Paul, the rewinds work great on 1st gens. The offset for 4x110 is 20mm but they only have a
zero for the 4x114.3 so you may need to do a little research to verify they work ok on the SE.

Rewind - Konig Wheels

Car looks really good. Maybe I'll make it to an OGTA to see it some day.

Here I am detailing my ride:

I'll only be able to make it if It's a weekend gig. Tuesday's are out for me. Work schedule won't permit. Thanks for the info. Yes offset is huge to get the right number while avoiding hub adapters and (or) rubbing on springs (front end). thanks for the compliment on my ride.

well after a year and a half of using my Miata as a commuter car I hopefully will be getting back into a 7 this weekend. Found an old fc in an abandoned parking lot and left a note on it asking if they would sell. turns out they do want to and they said the engine locked up so might be able to get it for a couple hundred bucks. Plan for this one will be to see if I can get the motor unstuck first and if not just tear it out for a rebuild. Most likely will end up a dedicated track car so chopping here we come!

Nice find. Sometimes a little ATF and patience will pay off big time.

Yep, lots of ATF and a little patience works big time.

That's how I unlocked the 12A in the Silver One that I drove for several years, maybe 50,000 miles, then sold for $3000.

Might even work on an FC.

You got pics Hogan?
