Thanks guys. Marcos and i represented at Southrnfresh car show this weekend, along with couple 3rd gens, a 1st gen and a beautiful 2nd gen vert. Those folks will be showing on your next OGTA meeting. The RX3 also took home the best OLD SCHOOL class trophy.

I got the car back from the Transmission shop. He gave it a clean bill of health.
It's still not running to well. He thinks the problem is either a vacuum leak or timing.
I’ve got the second gen ignition on my 84 car. How do you adjust the timing with that ignition on here?

weird how the seats, door panels, etc look really good but notice how sun faded the dash and window cranks are. especially the passenger side.
Mr. Cook, you are right, that's a right hand-drive Falcon. And it looks like the tree is a beri beri.
Both the Falcon and the beri beri are native to Australia, so that's where I'm guessing the picture was taken.
Also, if you look closely at the license plate, you'll see it says AUSSIE.
Speaking of Byrds, check out this piece of work. Yes indeed, the times are changing.

I spent all weekend working on the Craigs list find. Spoke again with the previous owner for more info:
Last run as a daily in Sept-Oct 2011
Cranked six months later
Cranked again six months later and none since then. (So it hadn't run in a year)
I removed plugs
Made a flexible funnel
Poured oil into each housing,
Then cleaned and reinstalled all 4 plugs, battery, turned it over 3-4 times with a ratchet on the front pulley. Drank a beer. Texted Tim for some more advice and then he informed me I couldn't drink until it was running. :-(
Then gathered all the kids and the wife and cranked it up. There are no more mosquitos in my barn. If you're nosey and want to see the video is on my wall on Facebook. I'm pretty sure it's public.
Then I had a celebratory brew.
It's seems to be running really rich. The cat is glowing red by the time the choke shuts off. I added a new air filter and a bottle of sea foam to the half tank of fuel. Then I delegated the vacuuming to Alan, he's 8.
Then I proceeded to spend 6 hours cleaning and detailing so as to make further resurrection procedures more pleasant.
I'm thinking I will need to thoroughly clean the carb/fuel system and go through the brakes.
The only problem is that I'm not really sure where Jenny is going to park now. ...she overheard this and told me she wasn't sure where I was going to sleep. ... she has a point. :-)

This is probably a silly question to ask in here, but since you guys are so active and there's no point in making a new thread.
Some ONE.. yes, one, as in a single name was given, purchased ALL of the Mazda Corral tickets for Petit Le Mans this year.
Anyone happen to have any leads on this or.. know anything going on?

Ray;
I’m cleaning up that remaining Igniter with the Dremal tool and a file, just in case. There was a good deal of corrosion covering the to small prongs on the side. I now firmly believe that they should be cleaned more often than every thirty years.
I’m getting ready to run a few errands and fill up the car. How much Sea Foam should I put in the tank?
Again, thanks for all of the help. I don’t think I would have gotten it going without your help.

Wow, lots of news. Brett got hitched - congratualtions, Aaron got his new find going, Greg rebuilt the Nikki, Holly stole all the Mazda corral signs, and Ray committed to an OGTA meet.
I took on a new project at work and have been swamped. But I am seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, sure hope it is not a train.
