Official Jacksonville RX-7 Locator
Trick or treat; I'm back!!
Based on the last couple of posts I guess I should start frequenting the forums again lol. I may actually have 11/13 off but I'll be driving the P5 instead of the 7 if that's ok (I'll lurk in the back so I won't **** up the line). Hopefully this will be before or after the FL-SC game because I've been looking forward to that one! Anyways, hope everyone is well and that yall had a Happy Halloween

I am going down Saturday morning for the event and will probably spend the night in Miami. My plan was to try to meet up with the Orlando gang somewhere along I-95, maybe in the Cocoa Beach area?
Shar- I'm def going. Shoot me a text about where and when you guys are meeting and I will try and roll in with you. I might not be making it until a little bit later however as I have to conduct some business first!
I know of a turbo'ed 8 driving down with a 20b FD.. dunno the details, since I am not going. here is a link to our very small facebook group... the guy who is going down is named Kyle

For all those who missed the SR6 meet this past weekend, sorry for ya! Hopefully someone has some pictures to post there were some badass cars out there, cool people and free food. I'll be back next year.
Yep...will post some later. All I can say is, "Imagine the garage scene from Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift with 80% less Asians and 95% less hot chicks.
All kidding aside I enjoyed myself...full review coming soon.

Imagine the garage scene from Fast and Furious Tokyo Drift with 80% less Asians and 95% less hot chicks and you have Sibling Rivalry 6. Before anyone gets their panties in a wad, I make this comment mostly in jest. Sibling Rivalry 6 is hands down the best organized import car show I’ve ever attended.
This was my first year attending Sibling Rivalry 6 and as I drove up in my beloved FD3S RX7 I wondered how I would be treated at an event that was primarily aimed at Toyota owners. I’m very pleased to say that no one on the staff batted an eye and throughout the evening no one had anything negative to say about a Mazda being in attendance…on the contrary a number of people complimented the car as it was the only 3rd Gen in attendance.
Where to start? Apparently the Sibling Rivalry car show began at a local dealership and outgrew the location. For the last year or two the event has taken place at a private garage in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. Being at the top of the garage surrounded by cars, enthusiasts and other activities while backed by the Jacksonville skyline is a experience to be had!
As noted, Sibling Rivalry 6 is a car show but also a celebration of what many consider the tuner lifestyle. There were vendors and break dancing and DJ’s. The event came across as very well organized and the staff seemed to be on top of the varied needs of the attendees…they even had free food…which elicited a long line as temperatures dropped.
The vast majority of cars in attendance were “show” cars. Cars with crazy paint, tv’s, flashing LEDs and more. Not my style but I can appreciate and respect the time and money put into their vehicles. Probably 20% of the cars in attendance were what I would call performance cars. There were some nice Supras and old school Toyotas but I was very impressed by the MR2s in attendance…some serious HP numbers packed into those little cars.
Overall this was the most impressive and fun car event I’ve attended in a long time. Due to the warm reception by everyone in attendance I’m very excited to attend the event next year and hopefully bring along some more of my rotary brethren.
