David Hayes informed me he fell behind schedule on the radiator install and will not be making the show tomorrow morning. HE is concerned on rushing the rad install and having something go wrong on the road. He will try to make it before the show is over.
Thanks Chris for posting that up. I am still in Orlando. The car is so close to being done but just isn't ready. I am meeting at Kilo Racing tomorrow morning to hopefully see the work done and then come back to Jax. Well see how long it takes. I will post up more in the am.
autostarz was...eh..outside of the garage and HOT! some pics...didn't take much cause it was too hot to walk around.

^That is pretty sick. Shame on that frog for trying to "hop" a ride. Regarding the show, can't believe it was outside. That is clearly not what they said or posted. Wow, that must have been some kind of hot for sure.
I really tried to be there and spent the past three days in 100+ heat to help get the car ready for the show. Got the new radiator installed but the local shop that welded a mounting post on the car welded thru the tank which caused a leak. Didn't notice this until after the new radiator and shroud/fan unit was already installed on the car. My brand new battery (as in two weeks old) died and wouldn't hold a charge so I don't know what is up with that. Temps on the car were a bit too hot (although) it was over 100 degrees but I was uncomfortable with this. Fnally, my body shop guy didn't have my LED conversion turn signal assemblies ready - can't blame him too much for this ahs he was in the hospital several days last week with high blood pressure probably from the heat. So I pulled the plug on taking the car back and drove the exciting Ford Fusion rental car back. So close yet so far away
Kilo promises to have the car done and completely tested for pick up in a week so I will regroup and go from there. How about if I make it up to the Gainesville guys who drove over to the show by going to you next time?

We have to arrange for a Jax or Gainesville meet. We are having a small get together on Saturday at Ocala Hooters lunchish for anyone willing to go. Details in the Gainesville meet thread. Good luck with the car!
Wow what a PIA! No worries, it was a good drive up but rained like hell back. With no AC and foggy windows...no good...no good at all.

Pretty sure that is the evaporator and yes, you should replace that too.
Good thing its not my daily. I'll be ordering new condensor and hooking up the custom AN lines this month.
sucks that the car meet was outside... I heard that Dillard's complained like hell because they partially "own" it.
I took some pictures of the event...ill try to get some posted up.
im thinking of trying to piece an A/C system back together for my car. any ideas where to start? this summer is kicking my ***
