Lol.. that was funny. I can't tell if the dude is being serious.

I have a friend like that... he's a little loose in the head.. similar **** happened to him. He pays this guy to buy him a cosplay outfit for an anime convention. Gave him like $300 bucks.

Then the guy he gave money to states he tried to buy the costume, but it didn't ship. And said that he has to keep the money because of 'shipping fees' or some random bullshit. But my friend bought his story and didn't ask for the money back..

If it doesn't have to be a JDM, I'd contact DJSeven and FritzFlynn as they both have access to very well built motors.

Shipping from California takes away almost any cost-savings.

If you have a core to get rebuilt, there is a local JAX guy who does rotary rebuilds in his sleep. That is, he use to work at MAZDA for 6+ years doing the Factory rebuilds, before they moved it away from Jacksonville, FL. He can be found on the Jacksonville, FL, craigslist.

I've heard there are a subtle difference between the years.. 93 and 94/95.. but can still work right.

I have never had a prob with a TPS but i heard it is pain in the butt once you get them off calibration and to re-calibrate.

From what I've read, its the narrow range nature of the FC tps, its not designed to use 100% of its range. If you look at the stock values its suppose to be at 20% at rest! At full throttle it might be around 85-90% The reason I've heard this is the case is to account for wear/non-idea operating conditions. I've you've to a little leway on both ends, it can not be "100%" and still function properly.

That said, what kind of EMS uses the stock TPS anyway?

Hey guys. Wanted to let you know of an upcoming car show "Auto Starz" to be held at the Mall of the Avenues a week from Saturday. I just registered so I will have the 3 rotor there, that is if Kilo Racing gives it back to me next week! It would be great to have some other RX7s there. You need to register by the 23rd.

That's cool. Let them know you want to be grouped with me and we will be together. A 3 rotor and an LS6 powered car next to each other? Blasphemy!

cool, it'll be good to meet you and see the beast in person vs just in pics

LOL..Now if we can get Brian's CYM turbo LS out there...that's blasphemy. Even I think a CYM should forever be rotary.

Brain bought that car from my buddy Dean. Swapped it over to an LS to make it more reliable even though Dean tracked the car for multiple years on the rotary without problems. Heard Brian blew up the LS right after install That was some time ago though.
