Official Jacksonville RX-7 Locator
I rolled through on Saturday... but didn't see any 7's.
I'm not really new to Jax, or the 7 scene, just new to meeting up with the half-***-organized Jax RX7 club.
Maybe next weekend? Ill put up pics of the vert later, and I'm still building the 83. If anyone saw me Saturday, its a sky blue tii vert.

Ive been attending street racing for a long time here in jax. since i was 14-15.
I remember a blue vert TII that used to sometimes come out to roosevelt when they used to race right out of the stop light. IS this the car?
jax cops shoot first and ax' (lol) questions later!! thats the way i like it!
on another note, nope, that wasnt me on roosevelt. this car hasnt even seen orange park. pics in a minute.
the shitty thing is that i dont know squat about turbos... just n/a's.

OH. Very cool. LOoks like a nice summer ride.
Well. Here is some rotary turbo advice.
1. Always have a boost gauge. Never raise the boost unless engine is ready. (stock ECU/Engine not even close to being ready for more than 7 psi.)
2. Exhaust upgrade and intake upgrades will automatically raise boost. YOU will need a FCD along with upgraded exhaust. FUll exhaust can easily bring boost up to 9-11 psi.
3. Rotaries eat their own oil for metering Pump. Check oil level often.
Read around the forum.. you will learn alot. I did.

2. I finally somewhat got underneath the car a few days ago (I just bought this 3 weeks ago)... looks like a bigger downpipe... thats about it for exhaust work. I ripped off the stock intake box and whatnot, and replaced w/generic 3" cone. Here's the best part... two MIDAS!!!! mufflers lolololol.
3. Knew about the OMP. this is my 5th 7, just first turbo! definitely in the market for turbo advice though!!!! I've been on the forum for a good 7 years now, or close to it.

Damn Justin; congrats! Sorry everyone for not checking the forums lately. It's just since I got the P5 I stopped driving the 7 and I've been ridiculously busy with school and work these past few months. Finally graduated last month so hopefully I can find a new job in Gainesville otherwise I'll be working here for another year. Still have the 7, but still need to sell it. I warm it up weekly, but I might fork over the money and get it reinsured and get a new tag so I can start driving it on a normal basis.
If you guys want to have a real meet just pick a date so everyone can meet the new members and call/text any members that haven't been keeping up with the thread (including myself). Anytime starting this week until the end of July is good for me!

This threads been going alone well i see. well, its been awhile since i been on here. my fc is still dead =(. so im just gonna buy a T2. so thats why im here, anyone has a t2 wiring harness and ecu let me know! thanks.
Hey guys! You know I am surprised that this thread has lasted for this long. It's crazy. Bad news though. I recently did a compression test on the 7, since it was acting weird, and the results almost made me cry. I'm pretty sure that I blew the seals on the rear rotor. Engine rebuild time.
oh well guess I can clean up the car and increase the porting some more and this time put better seals in it. Oh and I might sell my TO4R to get a GT35R or larger. Good thing I bought a 240 as my dd.

I have an 1988 original TII that i am installing a haltech on. I will have the ECU, engine harness, pressure sensor.
The wiring harness isnt in the best shape. I had to solder in new primary injector clips. BUt it works. As it has ran my car for the past 5 years almost 6.
Does anyone have a parts car? i need the headlight and dimmer relays. My car is having healight electrical issues.

Its not the headlamps. I have a short somewhere. When i tried using my high beams 4 days ago. There were no highbeams. SO i hit the switch again and i had no low beams. It was at night so it sucked. SOmehow i shorted out the relays and somewhat melted the headlight fuse from trying to use my highbeams.
lol ok I know it's from a 240 forum but you guys have to read this thread. I loled so hard that well... I can't lol any more.
it is too ridiculous. And I know you will find it funny since it all took place in Florida. Awesome thread!!!
