Looks like going up I-75 NORTH to the at location would be fastest IF we dont stop...but getting there around 12 or 1 then driving 2-3 hours more through mtns may make it a longer overall trip.

Nope 'tas the 19th. I told everybody I wasn't going in, todfay - Portal 2 came out, lastnight and that's been my day, FTMP.

 

How is portal 2? Never played portal 1 but looks pretty sweet. You need a break from the cars anyway.

At EXACTLY 0630, I beat it.

Austin and I put 8hrs in the coop, mode and beat that, as well.

Brain puzzles.... Not TOO terribly challenging, for me. :\

Did you get the bumper off or not? It's pretty easy. Unbolt and remove. What are you guys having issues with?

 

ya we did,, the 4 white clips we were misisng.

 

I'd forgotten that there were 2 pair of white clips, below the studs. All's well... Minus one bumper and abt 15# in weight-reduction, later, and we're good.


@Nataku: Uhm... Wait. You live in Orange Park - which is, like, 15 minutes from 103rd and you're asking the Gainesville guys to drive up there to look at an FD with you? The Jax crew is kind of waning, huh?

Yeah the jax crew is pretty much nonexistent. There are a few guys here in town but they aren't very social

 

Now that you've conquered rear bumpers can you conquer AST removal so I can ship it tomorrow? I'll give you mine this weekend when I delete it.

 

Damn, dude. That sucks. Un/f it's a 40min hork and out of the 4 RX7s, currently 2 are under the knife, one's disassembled and the other's a ****-hair from being done.

 

depending on the time you were going, I might be available. I agree that the more eyes the better on these cars. When I bought my 8, I spent about 2 hours going over it; even had the dealer put it on a lift so I could see under it. Needless to say, they were very happy to see me go (I wasn't a jackass to them, just maybe a bit blunt) Give me a text 904-899-3186

Because it's a low-profile, flared hood, it comes off the OEM level, on the sides, and transitions in (down) to the center-line...

It also looks green, from the color-contrast of the read a funk car

Unfortunately it may be rendering my new tower-strut bar, useless (since the hood sites a bit lower than the OEM deck).

The orange bit, that you can see in the reverse ducting is the tower strut-bar mounts.





Next on this is CK rear diffuser (or the one from carbon car, if SOMEone decides to get a different one for the Pill) then maybe a specific style of wing - though not seen in a long time.

Mark: Rmagic HID lows will blind people on the road. There is very little space to adjust angle for my lights...not that I think pointing them down 3 mm will make much difference. Thought about switching so the HIDs are the high beams and other PIAAs are the lows.

nope...HIDs were supposed to be the lows from what I read...BUT that makes no freakin sense...especially now that I see how blinding the HIDs are.
