OFFICIAL Gainesville, FL events thread
I got a few pm's from people not realizing that we actually had a meet on Saturday. Seems the info got lost in thread movement. Soooo...wanted to start this thread to get us G'ville, FL people organized.
Post for auto support, meets, happenings, general info for Gainesville and surrounding areas. If you plan on coming to Gainesville from out of town, feel free to post up so we can meet and greet. Wanted this to be the "open" forum for local G'ville to communicate and coordinate. There are quite a few of us in town, looks like we all lurk on the forums and we should be able to get together every now and then.

Waiting to hear on a start date, probably in a few weeks. Right now the yen to the dollar is getting slammed, almost down 6% this month which is cutting deeply into my profits. Probably will continue Rx7 Boutique but won't have the time to put into it like I do now. I keep having dreams about that red feed cluster, mmmmmmmmmmm.

Gainesville Street Rods: Publix shopping Center, off 39th Ave just East of I-75
Trophy nite...interesting fact is that Tom is the only import I know to win best of show at a domestic car show.
More and more imports appear to show up at this and they don't discriminate against anyone. All monies go to local charity. If you enjoy some nice street rods, good way to spend a couple of hours in the evening. Trophy nite usually means a lot more cars from outside the area.
