I might stop by for the meet-up. I don't have anything planned Sunday, just a Danzig concert in ATL on Sat night if the boys don't bail on me. I don't know if I'll bring the convertible because I took the steering wheel off to replace the torn leather and fix the airbag clock spring (anybody got a spare of either?). I also am going to replace the paint above the windshield so I got to get it and keep it clean.

Jamin that sucks about your car. I never even go to see it.

I raced my 911 at the autocross on both days. Didn't recognize anybody.

I have an '81 Targa. It is a lot different than a 7.

RX744CSP was looking for a 2nd gen so he could use the drive train and suspension to build some new abomination. He may be interested in what you have left after you find a good body and switch what you need. He may already even have a new body for you. Check him out. His name is Mike and he is down in GooseCreek thumperman@comcast.net

I bought a VW TDI a few weeks ago and on the way home while it was raining on the interstate. I notice tailights moving back and forth in front of me which I assumed was an accident. While after I let off the diesel, the car turned into slide city and I ended up in a ditch! It was nothing like hydroplaining in town with deep water. It was almost like sliding on ice and I couldn't get control of the car at all. You may have found yourself in a similar situation.

Is that car brown in color?
I think I was looking at it with Mike and you on saturday.
All the while I was thinking, "I recognize this guy. But who, from where?" lol.

chances are that would have been me heading to work

What once was a "volunteer" work day for Sunday on Friday afternoon... has now become a "mandatory" work day as of today for Sunday. Looks like I'm going to hit 109 hours for one week no ****.

Sorry guys but I'm not going to make this one. Reese, take lots of pictures of what you were talking about with the dam. I'll make it down there to chill and shoot some when we slow down in a couple of weeks.

Sorry once again. I'm just thinking of that paycheck. lol.

BTW: My new lens has arrived. Nikon Nikkor 18-200mm VR!

Son of a bitch. Sigh. WTF. Not happy here.

Was really hoping you'd be able to make it, Allen. Anyway, we'll do what we can out this way. Just be sure to save enough of that extra cash to pay for that logicon. (Sooner the better, heh)

yeah I'm ******* pissed about it. Someone smarted off about a damn sign up sheet for Sunday bitching how they didn't want to work... so we all have to now.

I know I just didn't sign up... meaning I didn't want to work. Everyone pretty much hates this guy now.

I really am sorry guys but next time for sure. I know November is slow. No problems getting whenever for however long I need off.

Hey great meet. Someone want to take lead on planning next month, I believe it's due to be in Greenville.
Don't know when Reese will have pics up......later sounds good.
Here's just a quick shot from my camera not his...hence less quality.
