North Carolina Area Rotary Shops?

Howdy, I did a search in these forums for a good tuning shop and didnt come up with anything so I am looking for some help. I need to know if there are any decent tuning shops that deal with rotaries around these parts. Ive got some carb/fuel issues I need to get worked out along with some other minor things. So far all I have gotten from asking around the jacksonville area is that there is one next to a BP and Hardees if I go south on 17... not exactly reliable Id say. Any help is appreciated.

You mean to tell me there are no reliable tuners or Rotary shops in ALL of NC?
I started another thread looking for a tuner in the Charlotte area and you know what I found? Nothing, nothing at all.

I found a place in Moorhead City called Kamikazi something or other, there was about 5 FD's around it to include a 99 spec drag FD.

Hi,
In response to your inquiry regarding rotary specific RX7 shops in NC- We are located in Kannapolis, NC 20 mins. north of Charlotte, NC

Our website is- www.rotorsportsracing.com

FYI- I have been building rotary engines, racing rotaries & RX7's since early 1978- and unlike a lot of "johnny come latelies" this is my chosen profession, not a sideline or something I "just picked up on"
I have also been competing for over 24 yrs. in SCCA road racing events in various RX7's
Please call me if you care to discuss your RX7 or rotary engine project.

Regards,

Bryan Smith

ha, best statement ever! out of boredom i drove up to that shop and talked to some of the guys there, they looked at me like i had a dick growing on my forehead when i asked them about pfc tuning. and the one guy that "owns" the blue fd there said he could tune my pfc using my commander after i told him i know how to do that and i'm only looking for some dyno/data logic work. i knew their shop was crap when he told me they could "tow my car to east coast performance and have larry dyno and tune my car, then tow it back to their shop"

riiiiiiiiight, whatever

but on that note while i was in their shop i did see a set of vented fiberglass fd fenders and a few other little rx-7 nick nacks for sale in there, i'm sure for jacked up prices though.

I recommend RotorSports Racing. I had them modify my car and do an engine rebuild. Very pleased with the work they did. True professionals.
