If you knew what you were talking about I would go further into details. Let's just say I was running with a blown pressure-plate and a torn FLCA bushing. Check out a demo when the car is running how it is supposed to be.

Just want to thank everyone who made it out to the show. Had a great time talking with everyone and getting to hang out. Hopefully we can have more 7 owners next year.

Fair enough. If I knew that then I wouldn't have said anything. But there were a Thousands of people there that don't know it and it makes the FC look like a shitty car. Not that it rains on my parade I just thought "Alright, finally I get to see someone represent against all those modified 240's" instead it was just disappointing for me. So in closing I retract my statement saying you sucked *****, it was the car that was sucking right now.

I'm not saying the car wasn't nice buddy. I'm saying you wanted like 12k for the damn thing. I got an up close look at the paint it was ****. Props for bringing a second gen but thats damn near crazy to offer it for that much. Don't know what else to say. And yes I am probably the retarted one.

Please take your discussion to PM and don't hi-jack this thread, or start a new thread in the appropriate catagory. Thanks very much.

The only thing I could tell on the engine was emissions removal and a custom wastegate spliced onto the stock turbo manifold. I suppose that is in place to combat boost creep, but I think I would have done a full turbo upgrade first.

Also I dont see how that poor thing doesnt grenade itself without water/meth injection or an FMIC under those conditions...low speed, high boost, high rpm, no air through the IC to cool the charge.

Props on bringing the car and being man enough to get out there in front of everyone. I thought it was because the car was underpowered, but it didnt seem as though you could keep it sideways for more than a second or so at any given time. Not saying I am any sort of drift master, but it didn't seem quite 100% to me.

I have some good shots I will post up later.

Didnt see or talk to this guy, the car was clean but the red cross truck was gay. Now that I've seen the modded s5 tails in person I dont like them as well as I did in the pics posted on the forum.

That horrendous BP FD in the vendor section...

240 spilled its guts...

I also found it humerous that the only drift car that couldnt run due to a mechanical problem on Sunday was the ls1 conversion 240, while all those unreliable turbo rice burners are out there giving it hell.

STS rear mount twin turbo c6...I'm gonna put one of their rear mount turbo kits on my truck soon.

And you guys bitch about spool time with a t78....(this **** looks like it is a 6" downpipe if that is any indication)

This thing is DADDY...

That Black Supra right above the Red vette....Did anyone by chance get to hear that thing rev up???? Did you get to Kevin? JESUS CHRIST is all I can say. I got it on video I'll post it up ASAP. I'm pretty sure it was straightpiped. The ******* pipe coming out of the back was as big as the downpipe I know that. Although I'm not sure if I would trust those hose clamps with the boost that turbo makes...

Yeah, he was revving it. I think he was trying to make it shoot flames, but it didnt do such a good job of that. Sounded sick nonetheless.

Hey, sorry, I forgot about this thread.

I have a bunch of suspension parts inbound to throw in this month, too bad it will be off-season then. =( Also, in 2 weeks the car goes up to NYC to my sponsor's shop (www.smokinjoeracing.net). New motor, GT3071R, FMIC, new lines, etc...Joe is awesome, and the car will show it for next season. =)

Kevin, thanks for the pictures! I probably met you during the weekend at the track, but I met so many people it was hard to remember. Shoot me a picture so I remember which person you were.

American Tire Distributors and DrifZ Wheels sent over a different model to run. It's now a 17x9 all around.

Yeah, I was there, but like I said, i really dont make it a point to walk up to people and BS anymore, especially when a crowd is around a particular area. I just go off and do my own thing most of the time, my wife and son get kinda impatient if I stay in one spot for a while. I did speak briefly to garfinkle when he was by his car, and I walked up to the SFS.com tent and talked to jerome and corey for a minute. I think once I saw you sitting in the back of the tent talking to someone and didn't want to disturb. It seemed like kind of a hot day to be sitting in one place under a tent anyway.

I understand Kevin.. YOU just didn't want to talk to me.. J/K.

I tried to walk around the damn place but it was just too much... and after awhile, everything seems pretty much the same. I guess I'm getting old or something.

No its not that you're too old, its just that after a while everything starts to look the same. You're like Oh hey theres another supra with a huge turbo on it, or hey theres another 240 with an sr swap. The show itself gets old. Or hey theres ANOTHER set of 30" rims. haha
I had a good time it just started to get old. Maybe next year the FC will be ready to enter and get a few looks. Either way its better than a weekend working.

I saw you a few times phil but I didn't say anything. I took quite a few pics of your car. Once I get home I might be able to post them up but the home comp is just too damn slow. I'll post up some nice ones in the next couple of days.
