I had a damn good time at the Nopi Nationals. It was my first time there but it wasn't as bad as I thought... except the over priced tickets
Anyhow, I want to thank the guys at the www.SpeedForSale.com and it was great meeting new rotary guys.
Hope to see some of you at the next rotary gatherings.

I always said that NOPI judging was crap. Here's your proof. Here is the 2nd place car as it sat 25 miles away all NOPI weekend. It wasn't even close to the Speedway. The judges don't look at the cars at all - they stuck a sticker on my bike like they judged it, but it wasn't even in a class.

Rotary Freak
Hence, the reason I never go anymore. The only cars that show up are ricer's, neon and "show" cars. If you want to watch people, party and spend lots of money, it may be for you. I save my money for Petit LeMans.
Congrats David, on the no show win!

Hey Guys, I had a blast meeting all the new folks I had either heard of or had already talked to but didn't know who they were. I think I enjoyed that more than any other part of the show. Special thanks to Jeremy for setting everything in motion for the group. From my understanding, alot of people from our group were award winners and congradulations to all of them, even david with his absent 7. Teach me how you do that, LOL. Pics will follow, if not today, soon. Thanks again to everyone for such an enjoyable weekend.

And the Revolution...
The show was ok. That silver turbo vert was nice but that guy is damn near retarted. I think he wanted something like 12k for it. The guy driving the drift FC sucked *****. And theres no way in hell it was fair because all those 240's were modified pretty heavily and he was running stock everything as far as I could tell.
Did anyone happen to be standing around when that black supra started up and revved his engine?
Jay Laub's FD makes me want to Vomit with those 20" chrome badges near the rims and all that mexican chrome trim. What a waste of a good car. If I were a judge I would have busted his *****.
Otherwise I didn't feel like I wasted my money.
