I used RotorSports Racing in Kannapolis. I personally was very satisfied with their work. It may take a few days or weeks depending on their workload. It took 8 weeks for me to get a rebuild and some other work done.

In nc you better take it to bryan, take the time to take it somewhere they know what they are doing, i have seen other peoples rotarys ruined by guys that knew nothing, it was worth my wait to take it to rotorsports racing, it will take a little while but you dont have to worry if it was done right. not sure if they do bodykits i say do that your self and have some one paint it, cant be that hard, but man for performance let bryan and rusty take care of you you wont regret it and they dont bs you about it, nicest guys too call em up and talk to them they dont mind

The NC rotorheads welcome you! Concerning the wastegate install, there is a guy with our rotary group, The Raleigh Rotary Drive-In, his forum name is Smoken' and if you have an FC he can probably help you. He is getting ready to move to Charlotte for school so I don't know if he is taking on any extra work. I've heard of a Rotray shop trying to open in Greenville, NC but don't know anything about their work. The best shop for mechanical work in NC is RotorSports Racing. They are extremely professional, easy to work with, do quality work, and will stand behind what they do. You can find their website at www.rotorsportsracing.com, call them up and findout what they can do for you.

As for the paint and body kit, I'd highly recommend Custom Paint and Bodyworks south of Raleigh, near Clayton, NC. Jeff Brown does great paint work and could install your body kit. He also takes great pride in his work. He repaired and painted my 89 GTU after a dear strike almost 2 years ago and worked with me on price so that I could settle up with the insurance company and not have to get a salvage title on the car due to cost of repairs.

PM me if you're interested and I'll send you contact info for Jeff Brown. Come join the fun at the RRDI meets on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of each month if you want to get away from F'ville. We have some guys from Pope that drive up to Raleigh and a couple from Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point.

try Precision auto works in Durham. not a very high quality shop but one of the mechanics there is very skilled with rotaries and especially turbo's. call 919-598-3186, ask for Ira.

Never heard of it,

I know a good place on the outskirts of Jacksonville that does good body work. He'll charge roughly $500 to install and paint any body kit.

Shop's name is Color Pro's. The guys at East Coast Performance could tell you how to get to the place.

The shop owner is also on those forums from time to time, his name is Jerremy Ubanks (spelled weird)
