S C Labor day meet in Charleston

Ok guys, this is a formal invite to all rotar heads in SC. Sept 3 that is a saturday, i would like everyone to come and have a cookout, and then play softball at the field. We can play at night because we can turn the lights on. If anyone is interested in making this happen, let me know, some of the chucktown guys are already in on it. So let me know.

The field is off of orangegrove road, but if i cant get enough people then we might as well cancel the meet at the field and just do a regualar meet and then go somewhere. More than welcomed to have a cook out at my house. the reason why chucktown has not gone to columbia for a meet, is becuase when the meet is up there the majority of the people are from charleston, and when we have meets down here, noone comes, so that is why we have gone and split off from the state, and turned into the chucktown group. I would be nice to get everyone involved again. But at 3 bucks a gallon i dont think it will work.

oh, so now you don't want to have anything to do with the rest of the state???!!?! Well **** you, Pepsi! So sorry to make things difficult for you!

Ahem, now that that's out of my system...

I don't know what to tell you about meets here in Columbia, Landon. I can't make people show up for them, so if Charleston people happen to be the majority, there's not much I can do about it.

As for no one wanting to go to Charleston, I made it to as many as I possibly could up until the last few months when I wasn't even sure if I was staying a rotorhead or not. Again, what other people choose to do is up to them. If you've decided that you're all your own group and on your own, I hope you guys do well. I'm just sorry that you're removing yourself from a larger group.

Either way, I'm probably just going to end up being a loner since I've gotten tired of answering and RE-answering the same questions over and over again about how you can make 500 ******* HP out of an NA by bolting a huge turbo to it with no other mods and other lame questions.

Disclaimer: I apologise if this came out harsh or incomprehensible. I'm trying to keep my mind from wandering due to the pain medication I'm taking. I've also pretty much become disillusioned with the rotary community in this state as a whole. I used to make trips to any part of the state, and quite a few trips out of state just to hang out with rotary peeps. Anymore it seems like everyone is too damned lazy to go anywhere, or too good to be bothered with doing anything...

sorry for the rant, ladies and gentlemen.
