Well you can count me out, I blew the motor in mine. About to go pull the motor and hopefully get a new one in by sat night.

Well its missing all 3 apex seals on the front rotor, if everting goes as planned i should have it running again by friday morning.

Ok, as promised, last night I scouted us a good place to pre-meet in Gaffney. It is at the Texaco station just off of I-85 on Exit 92. It has a hugh parking lot, so we won't be getting in the way of other customers, they have plenty of pumps incase anybody needs to refuel, and they have restrooms - just in case!

We should try to be there by 10:15. That will give us 15 minutes to refuel, relieve the bladders, and swap out the apex seals We will be leaving at 10:30. If anybody has any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. The sooner we get everything worked out the smoother everything will go.

Directions:

I - 85 Southbound: Take Exit 92. When you get to the top of the ramp, there will be a traffic light. Turn to the right and immediately, get in the left hand turn only lane. You will come to a traffic light, so obviously, you will be turning left. At the top of the hill is a 4-way stop sign. You will be facing the Texaco station!

I - 85 Northbound: Take Exit 92. When you get to the top of the ramp, there will be a traffic light. Turn to the left. Go straight through the next light. Now, get in the left hand turn only lane, so that you can turn left at the next traffic light. At the top of the hill is a 4-way stop sign. You will be facing the Texaco station!

 

I would also like to get a roll call of people who are planning on joining the caravan at the Gaffney pre-meeting place. That way, we know who to expect. I'll start us off . . .

I will try my best to be there on time, I have to work Saturday from 04:00 - 07:30. But If I make it I will be there. I will be in one of two cars, my Red 1990 GTU FC, or my Blue 1993 FD.

well that sucks that is axactly the thing I was affraid of every time theres a meet and its closing to the date every body starts backing out for one reson or another. I am not talking about the people that theyr cars died or anything its just about people in general.

 

well i'm still rockin out and we may be adding an FC to the list. we should be taking it out for a test run tomorrow night! and if we can get imprezedrs' engine back in and tested by tomorrow night as well then BAM we'll still be in good shape. oh and count us in on the GAFFNEY pre-meet we gotta get earnst to the pre-meet too! HAHA

 

OK , got motor, going to install it now shooting to fire it up around 6-8 am will post back then
