Cool. I got the maps for the SC/NC mountain area so I could plan the route we will be taking. A little bit of twisty roads and some nice places to relax.

Thats good . I am still trying to find some of the rotor heads around here its like every time I see them I dont need anything and now I havent seen any of them since I started this thread

 

My brother said he would like to come too! He doesn't own an RX-7, so he'll probably just ride with me. So, I guess we can add him to the list.

 

Well basicly I am counting the Cars so the head count will definatly be higher than that becouse most of them are going to bring some body with them. So your brother is more than wellcome.

 

hope this pushes into September some time. I'm going to be in NYC for the next two weeks. I'd hate to miss it.

Yes it is becouse there has bin a lot of people that allready have made theyr plans to show up on the 27 so I am really sorry about the fact that you are going to have to miss it.

I almost did. In case you didn't hear, I almost sold it. Money is still a serious problem right now, but after a lot of soul searching, I decided that the car, the friends I've made because of it, etc were worth more than the money I'd have made by selling her.

Okay, here's the directions to Big Daddys

From Charleston, Columbia, Greenwood - Take I-26 West to exit 15 (Hwy 176); at the top of the exit, bear to the right; you will go about 3 miles to the first light. At the first light, you will see a Burger King on the right, Big Daddy's is next to it. There are two entrances and either will work.

From Charlotte, Gastonia, Shelby, Gaffney - Take I-85 South to The I-26 exit 70 and stay in the right lane; You are heading towards Asheville on I-26 W. Take exit 15 (Hwy 176); at the top of the exit, bear to the right; go about 3 miles to the first light. At the first light, you will see a Burger King on the right, Big Daddy's is next to it. There are two entrances and either will work.

From Greenville, Anderson, Clemson - Take I-85 North to exit 70. This is the I-26 exit and head towards Asheville (I-26 W). Take exit 15 (Hwy 176); at the top of the exit, bear to the right; go about 3 miles to the first light. At the first light, you will see a Burger King on the right, Big Daddy's is next to it.

From Greer - Take US 29 towards Spartanburg. At the second light in Lyman (Hwy129) , you will turn left. (There is a Burger King on this corner) At the next light, you will take another left (Hwy 292) (There is a Pizza Hut on the left). Follow Hwy 292 to the third light (it will be about 8 miles) and turn right onto Hwy 176. (You will see a McDonalds on your right and a Hardees on your left) Just before you reach the third light after you turn, you will see Big Daddy's on your left.

Ok, I'm trying to get a group of us together to get an RX-7 train from the Shelby, Kings Mountain, Gaffney, ETC, area to head down to the meet together. So, everyone in "my" area, lets get this going. Also, anyone who may need a ride who is from "my" area needs to speek up as well! Ok, let's do this!!

 

I am very pleased with the autcome so far if everybody shows up like they sead they would it will be a lot of fun.

P.S. I had this crazy idea of after we get back from the mountains and all we out to go to this place in spartanburg for diner it the restourant in the pets smart parking lot that were all the rice gather on saturday night I just thouth it would be so cool to make them drool put one of those lines around all the cars and hang up sings that say do not cross

Hmmm. . .my ONLY concern is what kind of temps I'll be seeing in the FC. For some reason, I've been running a bit warm lately even when I'm not getting on the throttle. Either way, I'll be there. I'm just not sure how much I can romp about.

I dont know just go to the Wal-Mart right across the street and get some yellow coution do not cross tape from there.

 

I have just talked to my mechanic and he is coming in his wonder of a 3gen car he sead he just needs to put the seats back in the car. He is coming from Rock Hill so if anybody is interested you could probably be able to meet up with him.
